    Fantastic day! Tbh it’s been a fantastic week of weather here, had sunshine every day, and temps reaching low to mid twenties in south Essex! As I type it’s still 22.5° glorious! Tomorrow looks cloudy outbreaks of rain, but I’m off to the Lake District for the weekend, and the weather up there looks pretty decent, high teens and plenty of sunshine! And then return next week to Essex back to low 20s! Long May it continue

    The March high for spring has been broken and still an hour of heating possible, and on the very last day of spring

    Sunny temp reached 20° already expecting a 22 or 23 here today, beautiful

    Temps finally on the up for all this coming weekend, could even see 23 in the south east! Certainly much warmer than we have had since the end of March!

    GFS is still consistent with its idea of a warmer week next week, and well Bbc for my area continue temps in the low 20s throughout

    Yup was really annoying cos it was a generally dry outlook perhaps the odd shower, but nope continuous rain, funny enough where I live was expecting more showers in London today, however, it’s been mostly dry at home with sunny spells and temps at 15° whereas here in bath just reached 13° before the rain and now sitting at 11° oh well tomorrow does look dry! Then I’m back home thursday and thankfully looks a lot warmer than today

    And when I get home back to London, temps up to 22 or 23 this weekend!!! Typical couldn’t have come a bit sooner lol

    On a mini break in bath! And today was worse for rain than yesterday!!! Initial forecast was to be dry for today, but that rain over cornwall has moved a bit further across so soggy for here this afternoon! Tomorrow however does look a lot drier

    Yes sunny spells, hazy sun, but it was sun and it dried my washing

    Not the best day here in south Essex but clearly not as bad as other locations the rain has only just arrived had some sunny spells and a high of 14.2° so not good for May, but not as bad as it could have been I suppose

    We may actually end up with over 10 CET especially with the outlook, could get a few days above 20° to end the month!

    Omg finally!!! A decent outlook, could be low twenties again, could even challenge the 24.5° before the end of May

    Just checked my forecast and from Friday i could be looking at high teens low twenties, and after all this cool weather it’s going to feel warm! South Essex anyway

    Oooh May hit 20 degrees by the end of this week here in south Essex!

    On the face of the gfs it’s still showing warmer temps midweek onwards could even get a day over 20 somewhere in the south east before June! Surely a lot better than the current 13/14 that we have ?

    Yeah I was going to say looking at the gfs it does look warmer than it is now, any spells of sunshine and you can add a degree or 2 on it as well, could reach low 20s not going to pass that up

    Okay so my spring highs in south Essex March: 23° April: 17° May: 21° I suppose could be worse, at least 2 days 20 or above

    For example my max mean temp last September was 21.6°

    Exactly, september can be a warmer month than any spring month!

    This is good tbh, such massive changes generally means a pattern change is occurring so all these wild swings I actually believe is a good thing

    And we still have the whole of summer it’s not even begun yet, and then we have autumn you can still get hot weather well into September! So that’s still 4 months of potential

    Not a bad day overall, I expected a lot worse, some sunny spells coming through and temps at 15° in south Essex, below average yes, but at least it’s not jaffa cakesing down
