  1. Well the background signals don’t fully support it yet so until they do there probably won’t be many comments on it lol
  2. Don’t worry my max was down today lol 17.5 yesterday only 13.1 today
  3. This is true but don’t forget that’s for my neck of the woods in the south east and we are not doing too bad for temps reaching mid to high teens atm, I know it’s not as good elsewhere though so don’t know what a below average summer would mean for other locations, for me it would probably mean maxes of 19 to 22
  4. Okay so going by the met office, the nearest official station to me is shoeburyness which is annoying cos it’s still 15 miles away however the average temp in May is 16 degrees and actually currently it’s running at 15.2° so going by an official station it’s almost at average, so if we stayed below average during July and august temps will probably stick to about 20 or 21 during July august, probably be some warmer days in the mix too, but is it just me that doesn’t think 21 or 22 is okay? Despite it being slightly below?
  5. I agree, just outside of London and I only need a jumper now, it’s even comfortable In the evenings, my low last night was 10.2°
  6. Know lots of the country have been doing poorly but generally here just outside London it’s not been that bad, we hit 21° Sunday, Monday 18° Tuesday 18° weds 17° and today so far just 13° tomorrow forecast high is 16° so Tbh in my neck of the woods it’s not been as bad as it has for other parts, at least I’ve hit 20° this month
  7. It’s a beauty of a day here in south Essex, long sunny spells and currently 20° not bad at all and lighter winds
  8. Looking at the gfs it may be starting a trend there, yet again showing much warmer conditions, still loads to go yet, but still showing it
  9. Reached 17 again here, it’s been warmer here this month than last month thank goodness, this is the 4th day I’ve hit 17 or above, and the coolest day was 13 and highest was 21 so overall not bad pretty average
  10. I’m sorry but don’t agree it’s not massively below even if we maintained 3 degrees all summer still looking at 20 or 21 anyway average day here 17°
  11. I’m just outside of London m25 essex borders it’s a lovely day tbh 17° which is normal for the time of year, and your 14 isn’t bad right on the coast, I be happy with that and not well below average either, to me well below would be temps struggling to 8 or 9 degrees, 14 is only 2 degrees below what you should be
  12. Well I’m in the south east and temps are currently 17 degrees which is average certainly not well below
  13. Could not agree more, it’s just constant moaning, average temps and showers continue, it’s actually quite nice outside now we lost the artic air, it feels warmer anyway
  14. Fantastic day today! 22° tomorrow looks decent actually, few heavy showers dotted about but also plenty of warm sunshine too, could still reach 18 degrees! Me thinks it’s another bbq tomorrow evening
  15. Excellent post average temps and mild nights intact my local night temp holds around 10/11 degrees with a couple of cooler 9 or 8, but that is way way above what we have had when night temps was pretty much at freezing or below! GFS might not be Inspiring but those temps are average and no more cold north airmass over us either, overall could be worse, could obviously be better, but I take what it’s offering
  16. Feeling very warm here plenty of sunny spells and currently 22°
  17. The outlook looks okay mixed bag and average temps can’t complain
  18. Also worth noting the much milder nights, well above freezing going forward! I’m actually perfectly happy with the output now, as you say average temps which in the sunshine will feel nice, then showers which will keep the garden happy and no frosts so it’s good as far as I’m concerned
  19. 16 degrees is my average, early May it’s 14 which rises to 17 at the end of May, and the only place that is close to 18 as a May average is Heathrow which comes in at 17.9° according to met office but generally speaking according to the met office site 16 or 17 is average for most places in England, and looking at the temps for the next 7 days at least, things are looking at 16 or 16 degrees especially here In the south east, and as far as I’m concerned that’s good enough, I want 25 like everyone but if we have to wait until July that’s fine 17 is good enough for now
  20. 14 to 16 is pretty much average and in the sunshine will be warm, if you want 25 move to the med
  21. 15.5° at 8pm! Tomorrow with some sunshine is going to be warm! Even more so after what we have had
  22. There will be more sunny spells around this evening coming up from the south should also be when we get the warmest temps for today 16 or 17
