I apologise to the radar gods, its tipping it down, five lightening strikes all together with thunder

We have rain, not a lot, but a little. I shall pin my hopes on tomorrow.

Radar saying we have rain, well Mr. radar, you sir, are wrong!
6" of water, that's more than we've had in years

The rain is Biblical! Rivers of water are running down the street!
I'm moving to beccles! Now hearing thunder, still no rain..... siphon some of that rain and drop it over here please
-
Not a drop, and guess what, all around us, but nothing here!!

Dark and rainy, over here...No thunder.
Nowt here, the difference 7 miles makes eh!
Fingers crossed for a lovely soaking here the next two days I'm gonna be peed off if it halts or goes around us and we end up with drizzle and all around gets a couple of inches

Weather warning for rain issued for tomorrow bring it on I'm aware most won't be happy about this, but I'm weird and I like rain (except walking dogs in it ). @Blessed Weather 2-3"? wow that'd be nice

The wind is getting quite fierce here.
Tis is a tad breezy, I think the thunder you hear is someone's roof blowing down the road
-
We have thunder and more heavy rain.

Sorry to be a kill joy but the BBC weather symbols are computer generated. They have zero human input 90% of the time they are wrong.
Looks like I might get rained off from about lunchtime tomorrow, some very heavy rain due
That's why they are funny we have had one hefty shower come through and some more building, nothing thundery mind, enough to water the garden though

What the actual hell??
im on holiday near Great Yarmouth, and it is currently torrential rain, lightning and booming thunder! Where did this come from??!!
Don't know but it woke me here in Lowestoft! Didn't last long, will check rain amounts when I venture out.

Another blue sky, sunny morning without that wind that really picked up yesterday afternoon, we had some overnight rain, hoping for some more tonight.
-
Bright, sunny, blue skies here this morning, albeit a bit breezy. Still watering my garden, hoping we get some overnight rain tonight and tomorrow night, just for a few days off from the hose!

Well BB, I'm hopeful that, given steep enough lapse rates and a very long land-track, we might be in line for late afternoon/early evening thunderstorms? And, as we all know too well, hope springs eternal!
All hope lost, nowt, nadda, zilch.....

Another sunny start here, barely a drop of the wet stuff has reached here, even though most others have had it reading through the posts here. Hope we get some today, but looking at forecasts seems it fizzles out before reaching the coast again.
-
Woah that came out of nowhere, massive crash of thunder, sky just turned dark!

Very humid here, rising rapidly in the last hour and we have swarms of flying ants, hate them, horrible things. Hopefully the predicted cool down arrives tomorrow. I assume no storms coming today?

Got woken around 4am here, but due to slipped disc in back couldn't get up to open curtains to watch it, but plenty of loud cracks, around half 5 power went out with massive bang, thunder finished around half 6, had quite a bit of rain too. Hopefully some more later as it's very humid now with quite a blustery warm wind.
