    Only back on line now, It was a whiteout here for 30 mins. Another 2 inches of snow. This was the best snow I have ever seen. Thank you to Newtweather Extra radar that pinpointed it so well. Looks like plenty more to come for the rest of the evening.

    Hi Matty and all Irish weather companions, Here in Palmerstown, West Dublin, we have had constant heavy snow showers since 4pm and it is accumulating. We have about 2/3 inches everywhere, on roads and everything. Best snowfall here since 2001. I am one happy male bunny, have taken loads of photos and videos. will post tomorrow.

    Hi Mike, What an event for you in the UK, well done and enjoy. I am quite happy at present as we have a light covering and are getting light snow/hail showers at the moment. Our Met people expect a more generous helping for us guys on the east coast this evening and tonight, so fingers crossed.

    Hi The eagle, Snow very close now. Temp here 4.1 but dew point is -3.7 Hard to believe that it can snow at this temperature, hope it drops soon and quickly.

    Hi SP, Even my dew point and wet bulb temps were Zero. Must ask John Holmes to explain. Totally puzzled.

    Light rain here in Dublin at 7.30am and temperature was 0C!!! Global warming takes precedence over actual temperatures.
