  9. From ten years experience of living in Faversham, north of the downs, a front moving east with southerly alignment/wind direction we tend to get a bit more snow.....ie precip/air rising over downs to west/south intensifies precip to north/east and can have a bit more than areas south of the downs..... we shall see but this looks exciting..... hoping for a wee dusting tonight overnight but not holding my breathe..... ps enjoy all..... its going to be a fun ride......
  10. That front over holland belgium is turning towards east anglia and the south east.....watch the loop on x4 http://www.sat24.com/en/eu
  11. If you look on the Bbc forecasts it was the precip following the snow currently over Belgium and holland that is due to take a swipe at east Anglia and Kent later on. Keep and eye on radar and satellite.

  21. Yesterday it was flurries but we had couple of cm in places. Now it's a cm or two thursday and Friday, so who knows? Inches/feet by saturday? At least the official met office uncertainty gives a bit more spice to the atmosphere on these boards. I'm hoping for some nice crisp snow.....anything that falls thursday/Friday should be powdery with such low 850s and temps/dew points!
  22. Been this light flakes/snow grains since i was up just before 5am.... just about making an impact on shed roof.... not much tho.... does look like a snowy sky tho.....wish it would darn it....
