Really enjoy reading and learning from the forum. A great place to understand charts and predictions. Although with all the science and maps on hand there is one model we need to consider, sods law. So here it is... high fuel price, low gas reserves and worries about keeping the country supplied. So according to the law we will have one of the coldest winters on record...sods law Thank you again all on this forum who are far more technical and in the know than me. Keep the models coming .

They state that this is the most dangerous kind of SSW breakdown...do we agree with that?

Ian Ferguson local BBC forecast using MO model showed good snow event for Thur/Fri but with the last words "we (SWest) may miss it... but I wouldn't guarantee it".. mmmm the plot thickens.

OK... Who tripped over the power lead!

Clutching at straws but as its soooo cold this morning...any chance of this rain later being snow? Or are we looking further ahead for the next snow chasing event?
