A bit chilly today around 4.c max with a windchil. models look abit pants to say the least. Imagine living in the Us and getting hot summers and cold snowy winters every year. Looks like record cold for them.. again Cold rain for us. Things can change it is annoying when things look so good for UK cold. Just want a week of snow and ice days. 0.c here dp -2.6

They get freezing ice days and massive snowfalls we get damp dark muddy marginal rainy rubbish. How unlucky can we get it's crazy.

Man it is annoying how America gets the real decent cold every year. It must be great to have hot summers and snowy winters every year.

Because alot of other places have had rain or sleet. Or a couple of snow showers that melted instantly.

Took a break last couple days, Glad I did seems alot of promising nothingness going on in here, They all were on suicide watch in the mod thread when I had a quick read to send me to sleep last night. Been chilly here last night but the temps did not drop below 0 for the first time in a while which is concerning. Looks like any showers incoming today will be wet not white. The models seem to be picking up abit this morning for cold fans which is good maybe this SSW will pay off after all. Anyway have a good start to week all. 1.c here looking abit miserable.

Haha you sound like me. We have had snow falling from the sky when it has not missed by a mile either way but it's all melted a pathetic dusting at best. There may be chances yet to come.

Hopefully I recon we will just catch the top bit. Looking at the animation it is deffo gonna miss to South

Hopefully these band of showers should build a good covering by the morning. Got a small amount now it is good conditions for settling.

I don't get how it can be 0c and a -1.4dp and It be melting away and rainy/sleet.. Great that it rained Before now the snow is falling it's just melting away. No covering at all here... Need some of those cold uppers model thread is always on about.

Been watching last hour it's a joke.. We are in the eye of nothing. Just watching that derby bit. Even with it above us about 30mins ago no snow was falling. We have a mini sheild around us.

It is unfortunately as I had a bit of a darker blue section above me and it was not snowing. Not seen a flake yet hoping that bit over Nottingham heading for derby keeps some.

According to radar under the snow.. According to window no snow. Definatly losing intensity.

I gave in and looked at the Radar.. Matt you are soo lucky.. Burton is going to get a little but you are going to get all the decent PPN for quite a while yet. Great stuff

Afternoon just got in from work was out in Barton under needlewood this morning was very fresh around -2. Has a few short snow showers over there started to get worried about the roads but it stopped so no probs. Was nice to be out and about in the snow. Back home in Burton now not looked at the radar. Hope manage to get a shower or 2 here now. If I don't look I can't be disappointed Hope a few get some snow that have not seen any flakes falling and I see greedy Stoke may get some more. Snowing in Nottingham at sister in law's so that's a good sign. Around 1c and a DP of -1c here.

Really Haha.. On Monday for us it had snow all day heavy for middle of day then light for hours.. Then as we got none it changed to clouds as it was happening. Lol
