  1. Was that you? Holy Carp haha. How old was you when you first joined? I always laughed at that.
  2. Yes but... Will it snow in Carlisle. I miss that guy.
  3. Not sure. But there is a Scotland Regional thread here. https://www.netweather.tv/forum/topic/89190-scotlandalba-regional-weather-discussion-16012018-onwards/
  4. Wait, What? Is this for the South you are referring to? As temps here will be between -2 and 1C with dew points well below freezing.
  5. I steer clear of that place when snow is coming and stick to the regionals. Soft southerners - I wont lie, it does make me smile a little if the North is due snow and the south is due rain Anyways - Suns out and its melting the snow fast.
  6. Maybe 2-3 Inches here in SW Manchester. Love it ! Bring on Friday.
  7. Me too right after you. It literally made no sense.
  8. Finally.some snow. Looking outside at probably a cm or two. That big green blob over the dales is heading for Manchesher
  9. Looks like a direct hit to me. Just hope the mountainous regions dont sap all the energy
  10. BBC don't use the MetOffice warnings anymore. They use information from MeteoGroup.
  11. Keeps us in the cold for longer yes. It's amazing to see the Jetstream going in reverse over us.
  12. Midlands to get a severe spell of blizzards, drifting snow and freezing weather. Lovely.
  13. This is what we want really - as much as I would like the PPN to push North and stall giving us lots of snow, i'd settle for the Greenland High which increases our chances of snow and cold.
  14. Yep, all models are to be fair - except the Euro 4 which to be honest has been abysmal. It all depends on this SW heading towards us in the early hours - is it strong enough? Lets see.
  15. I can understand the amber warning for that area, but a heavy band of snow crosses right across Manchester, Cheshire, Liverpool etc - I expect another warning for the NW.
  16. I believe the trajectory is to enter around Newcastle and follow through the NW of England.
  17. Arpege makes a big deal out of the SW exiting Norway, could be 5-10cm out of that with the hills 20-30cm. It then makes a really big deal of the low coming up from the South. Again 5-15cm with the hills 20-30. Some big accumulations there.
  18. It's well know it's incredibly hard to predict Polar Lows. In my opinion this isn't one. PL's are from a strong Arctic Northerly flow - This isn't. It's really that simple. It's already exited Norway now so lets see how it looks on the radars. If it's strong which I suspect it will be in this cold flow crossing warm waters, then somewhere is going to get buried.
  19. It does seem overly optimistic, having said that, if the SW leaving Norway currently is very strong and the low coming up from the south Stalls over the North then that chart could be spot on. All if's and but's.
  20. Yep - I expect this to cross from East to West, but dying out as it crosses. Will give big snowfalls to the East, they will do exceptionally well out of that SW.
  21. It's meh - Looks good but lasts about 5-10 minutes.
