  1. A mate of mine just sent a snap from temple bar, just looks like a bit of slush. Thought it be a winter wonderland.
  2. Warning still in place but says highest accumulations for Wales England of 5 to 10cm, they're under same warning. Looks a bust for the north tbh.
  3. 2 red warnings by Met Éireann. And for Emma everywhere has a red or orange warning except for donegal, not even a yellow.
  4. Looks like curtains for the persistent snow later this week across Northern parts. Outlook for Friday to Sunday: Becoming drier through Friday and Saturday with only a few showers in east but snow showers will most probably return on Sunday. Occasionally windy. Feeling very cold.
  5. Some of those showers seem to be pepping up overland especially that one around the Magherafelt area. Strange.
  6. My point was there already was snow showers across areas with no warning and looked similar to areas under one. This spell seems just a bit mad to predict. Anything could happen over the coming days snow wise.
  7. No really difference in shower activity current radar for those in orange warnings and for some not under any warnings. Small sporadic specs of sh...te lol. Some small reds appearing in the Irish sea
  8. Kent only has a yellow warning. Big boo boo if 40cm comes.
  9. Snow showers mainly in East then more widespread disruption possible anywhere from Thursday night to Friday night.
  10. That highest total is right over the wicklow mountains. Met eireann could issue a red warning tonight or by tomorrow morning if its looking likely.
  11. Met Éireann forecaster on radio just now said the North West won't know what we're talking about. Bodes well lol
  12. Bbc outlook NI updated 10 minutes ago Outlook for Thursday to Saturday Thursday will be mostly cloudy and bitterly cold with a strong easterly wind. Spells of snow are likely to spread from the south, often light but some heavier spells are possible at times. The snow may intensify again through Friday as it moves northwards. Drier overnight. Cold again on Saturday with a risk of another spell of snow pushing from the south later in the day. To summarise anything fooking thing could happen
  13. Well depends where you are, low levels in Ireland already had snow that didn't melt during the day. I had 5 in December. This will be the worst spell of the winter for the island as a whole with some very big accumulations to low levels. I didn't mention hype, just agreeing with Sperrin that other places already had snow without it melting fast as some think was the case for everywhere Ireland. That's a different site not here. Anyway like I said this will be the most severe weather of the winter.
  14. Sure on boards all Ireland has had this year has been sloppy slushy mess that melts in an hour apparently, and that's not there local conditions its all of Ireland. I appreciate I'll get sweet fa from this week, until the end of it I'm lucky but it will bad in other places and I hope they enjoy it.
  15. It's encouraging it's for all of NI and as it stands they think all areas will be hit.
  16. Tomorrow's max will be higher for a lot of places than today's before the really cold digs in.
  17. Looks like it's heading towards t1ts up territory for the NW come the end of the week.
  18. People have a habit of saying bin if they don't like an output. Never saw bin being said once if it paints a snowy picture.
