Maybe a modest dash of the intensive farming pongs from Holland and industrial stinks from elsewhere?

But surely the covers stop you being cold! Might be easier to just sleep under the stars [and a snowflake or two, if you're lucky!].

Latest thinking from the met office is that Sat will also be cold in the south - e.g. Aldershot 3C, but on the coast nearer 5C. Thurs/Fri sub zero in the day with snow. So says the met office.

"The Beast from the East" has been used by the media for many a year, but not in the 1962/63 winter - which was dominated for months by that beast. .

New info from ITV: TRAVEL Update - ROADS: KENT - accident on A229 Chatham / MaidstoneThe A229 is closed in both directions at Blue Bell Hill with queueing traffic after an accident involving six vehicles between M2 J3 (Chatham / Rochester) and M20 J6 (Chatham). There two unrelated accidents on either side of the carriageway that have caused the road to be completely shut.
-
Maybe congestion. Just seen this: 4 hours ago - Detling Hill. The A249 in Detling is still closed between the M20 junction 7 and the M2 junction 5. Drivers should use the A229 Blue Bell Hill instead, which KCC Highways said is “open and running well.” But i'll do some more checking.

Be patient. You might well get some more, soonish. You could go to the top of Folly Hill and experience more.

Lol you happy now? You were snowless and on edge last night. Then the flurries started, late, and you cheered up.

Belting it down north of Steyning/south of Horsham in a shower, but, looking east/north east to kent, showers are developing into someting hefty/maybe are converging, and are on the move west/south west.
-
Yes. I suggest even Farnham, Surrey, might get some later. A snow lover there is desperately seeking snow.

Showers setting off from off the coast of the netherlands ... http://www.weathercast.co.uk/radar/netherlands.html

A few showers/a thin stretch of streamer arrived in the Steyning area overnight and must have ended up in Worthing, where the snow-desperate might be waking to not-deep whiteness.
