    Out of interest, how often does a long range model output show something like that? (going back on previous winters) Do they regularly pop up in long range forecasts, but never actually happen because its obviously too far out to predict. Or is it quite rare to see a long range output like that?

    The graphs show 1979 with the biggest anomaly surely? Also, why is it anyone pro global warming is a scientist, but anyone against is a denier?

    Glad I'm not the only one then! Thought I was going mad. I just found it odd that Blessed Weather was saying that the current Ice is already below the last mean, as thats been the case every mean since the 80's!

    I feel like I am missing something here, but surely that Arctic Sea Ice Extent chart shows that the rate of decline in ice has actually slowed or at the same pace?? The 2018 line is what the 2010 mean line should look like.

    Theres a stream pretty much from the Thames all the way to Holland/Belgium border, so it could go on for a while. Whether its big flakes or small, who knows!!

    Oh god...I do hope there isnt a lot of unhappy people waking up tomorrow after the rain has washed half the laying snow away

    Yeh, its lovely...makes you want to be outside! Its soo peaceful as well, even during the day, I'll hear the odd car, but the most noise is coming from families pulling their kids about on sledges!

    That mini low is due to split in two as well as being rain, so sadly I think thats the snow tap well and truly off!!

    Oh for god sake!! I thought it was all over, and I'd put myself in 2nd Jan mood.......but now it looks like I've gotta spend another night radar watching haha, I cant take any more surprises!!
