I actually only just got back from the beach and didn't realize storms were close to me. Hope we get to see something in Torquay.

I think the forecast's were pretty accurate for Torquay as we're up to 28C so nothing extreme but hot for our coastal location. Although the often useless METO app said 24C for today. But this is pretty much what I expected. What has surprised me is humidity is in the low 40's which is much lower than expected.
Sea temp on the last reading at 15:00 today is a very comfortable 18.8C. Perfect temp I think to cool off a little. I took this photo earlier at a nearby beach.

Incredible detail in that Satellite photo. Where did you get that from? Thank you
Met Office website. Unfortunately looks like it's dying off as quickly as it formed.

Wow it just started raining in Torquay, I was not expecting that! Looks quite potent on the radar. I think I'm going to pop out with the camera as the clouds on the webcam look awesome.

Met Office forecast has changed from sunny to lots of cloud around this afternoon and mostly cloudy tomorrow up until 2pm when it said full sun. Then lots of cloud on Sunday and mostly cloudy on Monday. They got the rain wrong yesterday for many places too. I hope this nice weather isn't going downhill.

Today's Bournemouth Pier sea temperature is 8.6 °C.
Statistics for 15 Mar (1981–2005) – mean: 8.9 °C, range: 6.2 °C to 10.5 °C
Starting out a little higher here than last year. Sea temp is 10.1C with the March average so far of 9.7C. Last years March average was 9.1C. With the nice weather about to start and many days of unbroken sunshine to come, it's looking like a good start to sea temps in 2022.

Its thinning a bit in Dorset and to the west it might clear up. I was having such a good time last week that I forgot we had a cloudy morning on Thursday which had cleared by 1-2pm.

Thankfully and finally we're having real summer weather here in Torquay. Its been a bad year for cloud amounts at least since spring but since last Monday its been perfect weather. So the 7th day in a row now its been great and it looks like it will stay great next week too. The cloud is often not too far away but its leaving us alone. We've been very fortunate in that respect. The last week and next week are the best part of 2021 so far especially since the humidity isn't too bad with all the sunshine. Its busy as well which is such a nice thing to see after everything over the past year.

I'm heading out with the camera. My friends house is over the road from the beach and has large SW facing windows, so we have somewhere to go if it gets bad. Just want to leave a few webcam links in case it gets interesting here.

First cam looks SE, second cam link looks WNW.
