  1. I am sure the snow will come but will it last until Christmas? Only had one proper white xmas in 2004 and five or six days can make a difference........but having said that I do hope this potential fall will give us a proper covering and not just a dusting.
  2. Dry clear sky Temp 2.5C 986 hPa Breezy
  3. Blast.......you have just disillusioned me Mr Tattum!!! Thought you were a young man.... Re prediction. Max 7C Min 2.5C Wind 30mph
  4. Clear skies and very light breeze. Temps down to 4C. Another airfrost methinks.
  5. Another lovely day here. 21C and feeling very comfortable. We are so lucky to have had just over two weeks of consistantly warm weather, I will feel sad when it finally breaksdown.
  6. 13C patchy light areas in otherwise cloudy skies.
  7. Another lovely spring day. The toads have spawned.......not sure if that is a little early for here, they were certainly later last year. Looking across to Ben Wyvis the gullies are still full of snow though and there always the possibility of another fall or two before the end of May. Today temps sitting around 12C but feeling warmer with very light breeze.
  8. Breezy day temps now 10C........with wind chill making it feel very cold.
  9. We had fine grainy snow today which didnt lie. Temps dropping fast now. Just above 0C and looks like being a frosty night. Roll on spring! PS......Nice pics Northern. I watched similar clouds roll in and its quite spectacular.

  11. Inverness temps have reached the giddy heights of 15C. It really is a lovely Spring Day.
  12. A beautiful calm morning with clear blue skies. Temps at 6C.
  13. I love spring a beautiful time of the year full of promise. Already some of my early daffs have buds on them and Crocus showing the first signs in the lawn!! BUT it would applear there is another snowy few days at the end of this next week......probably a little early to be sure of it coming to fruition.
  14. A veritable heatwave up here today. A sunny warm day with temps reaching 14.5C
  15. Another two or three inches of snow on top of the lying snow. A bit of a surprise! Judging by the radar, I think we have seen the heaviest go through and it will continue with light snow for another couple of hours.
  16. oh dear....the arthritis in my knees may make the grovelling a bit difficult!!!
  17. Ahhhh........we may be in luck on Tuesday night!!!
  18. A cold sunny morning. Our temperature outside Inverness dropped to -11C at 3am and no further snow. Currently -2C
  19. Well, unlikely we will see anything much up here, perhaps a dusting tomorrow at best. Temp has dropped to -7C
  20. Nice pics SC :o Looking at the charts listed on this thread this morning, it would appear unlikely Inverness will get much from this front coming in over Ireland, other than a bit of cloud sadly. The predictions for central England look quite daunting. Current temps -5C and sunny.
  21. Bright sunny frosty morning. current temp -5C
