  1. Temps around 4C a bright calm morning here in Inverness.
  2. The Scottish mountains are a dangerous place to be any time of year, but the risk of an avalanches is always there when there is is snow on the mountains. A terrifying experience I should imagine. So sorry for these poor people caught up in it. Looks like being another cold night. A real white thick frost this morning which has not cleared totally today. The gritters are out again, too late for one of my neighbours who has just slipped and broken his wrist on the icy roads!!
  3. I have a WS2350. I have had similar problems with using a USB connection on my laptop......changed over to desk top and used the com port... no problem now. My issue is with the Wind Speed - it seems to loose connection for long periods although the rain, temps all work well. Any suggestions?

  16. Just wondering if there was any meteor action expected last night? We saw a dozen or so bright lights in groups of twos and threes soar across the sky in a NE directrion at 10pm from South of Inverness going over the Moray Firth. These were definitely not aircraft.......totally silent and no RAF excercises taking place from Kinloss at the moment. Weird but no doubt there is some logical explanation

  18. Snowing in Inverness now........and the wind is picking up.
