  1. Looks a bit like that over Redford. Very warm and humid as well.
  2. Convective weather has me in perfect position for the line of heavier showers they are talking about. Hopefully a slight is introduced.
  3. That's decent potential right there. No idea what's going on with my area.
  4. It's happened pretty often to be honest. Although I think they'll be slightly more West then forecasted. The coast of Kent and around those areas would be a good place to be if you're looking for a distant light show I guess with maybe it scraping the coast if you're lucky.
  5. You wanna hope really that the storms are more towards the UK so it doesn't come down to that.
  6. Strange how my area is in non of those areas yet net weather, BBC/Met office is going for showers/Storms for my area on those days. South east is the best play though I think.
  7. Quiet right my friend. There's got to be a repeat of the portsmouth 1874 EF4 tornado at some point (probably wrong on the date). You can have all the CAPE in the world but with no trigger it's wasted. Hoping for a trigger tomorrow. Mind you I saw a line of small towers of conviction to my south today which I didn't expect.
  8. 3000J+ of CAPE would be enough to produce significant tornadoes if the other ingredients came together correctly. I'm waiting for an event with that amount of CAPE to happen.
  9. I agree with you on that one, you're right. It was me and you who had the argument last year. I'm sorry for that.
  10. Yup. I'm a North easterner so it's been a good start so far as it's usually quiet at the start. Shame there's no trigger because I think the storms would of been pretty decent. I agree with you. I'm going for a hot and thundery summer this year which isn't bad at all.
  11. Definitely signs of instability here. Small towers going up to my south. Probably won't amount to anything though.
  12. I'm finally back after my 1 year and 1 day ban for that fight last year. First of all I want to apologize to everyone involved including Paul (The guy who banned me). I also want to apologize to the guy I had a spat with. I've had time to think about what happened and it shouldn't happen again. Anyway onto storms since this is what this thread is about. So far this season I've had 2 storms and 1 thundery shower (1 flash, 1 bang wonder). Sunday might yield some storms for some hopefully. Not sure what happened to the potential on 6/7/8/9 June though. Seems to have disappeared. Today is very humid but capped.
  13. I know but I'd extend the warning because of the rain if anything. Just the 5 minutes of heavy rain I got today caused flooding on the road at the front of my house.
  14. I saw CAPE charts for tomorrow and other charts like that, that someone posted and they showed nothing in that spot. They showed more central.
  15. I did get thunder and lightning and I wasn't in the warning. In fact the most intense part was never in the warning
  16. I'm not saying it's rubbish or anything. I got a thunderstorm this morning with intense rainfall and I wasn't in the warning area at all. I also saw those guys who do those convective forecasts taking about North and Central UK. They also said birmingham is a good spot. I swear you just want to argue with me and cause things to go off topic. I'm just saying what I've seen I don't need or want a response from you everytime.
  17. It's raining again. It's that really light stuff though that looks like fog.
  18. The warning for Thursday looks wrong as well. I believe both Thursday and Friday the storms form more north and central UK. At least that's what I'm seeing so far. Met office always seems to contradict what everyone else is saying. It's very strange.
