  1. CAPE values for Saturday next week are really high as well.
  2. Monday night to Tuesday morning is something we should keep an eye on too.
  3. High CAPE values are likely, but lets be real, we most likely aren't gonna see above 3,000j/kg CAPE.

If that's a lenticular then that's by far the biggest I have ever seen in my lifetime. Great capture!

That looks insane. Looks like the classic supercell structure you'd see every week in the USA.
  6. I thought I was the only person who found out about Insecam Other than that, the storms Utrecht had were really similar to last nights storms (except it was in the night)
  7. If anyone didn't see any lightning activity last night (including me), then keep your eyes peeled for next week (Monday-Thursday). A thunderstorm outbreak is likely then. If that doesn't get you excited, then temperatures next week could soar up to 30 DEGREES...
  8. I think I can see the cumulonimbus clouds from that storm near Crawley.
  9. Some small flashes of lightning visible from the coast of Brighton. https://www.skylinewebcams.com/en/webcam/united-kingdom/england/brighton/brighton-pier.html
  10. A bit concerned now if I am going to be hit by a thunderstorm, most likely not at this scenario. Although if it is clear enough and those Cumulonimbus clouds are at a decent height then distant lightning is possible to be seen.
  11. Do I see something happening in the English Channel? Halfway through typing that, 5 strikes appeared there.
  12. How has the precipitation over Colchester not produced any lightning yet
  13. Most of those are false strikes apart from the two near Calais.
