    There is thunder. Look on lightningmaps.org Edit: There are two thunderstorms near you. One from the South and one approaching from the East.

    That is a proper storm heading towards Munich at the moment. Easily at least 100 strikes per minute there. Edit: Does anyone know some webcams in Munich?

    So, the shower that formed to my west produced one lightning strike. And that lightning strike was when I was in the shower. What.

    Very heavy shower (with surprisingly no lightning at the moment) has just formed to my west. I can see a wall cloud in the distance too.

    The Met Office have issued a yellow warning for rain and the warning is literally covering all of East Anglia on Monday and late into Tuesday.

    I felt really positive this morning that we were going to get thunderstorms today, however at this moment I don't think we are going to get any. The storms and heavy bands of rain near Bristol down to Exeter will probably just weaken into heavy showers by the time they reach here. And because of sunset the convection rates will drop.
