  1. On the subject of March and cold temperatures, the lowest March night was back in 1958 at Logie Cloldstone, well named 😀, where the temperatures hit -22c-ish. Logie Cloldstone is near Aboyne, Aberdeenshire.

    I suspect that record will never be beaten.

  2. Well, the removal of the yellow warnings means I don't have to fork out £1200 on a set of run flat winter tyres. My current set were removed weeks ago after failing the MOT. Not bad considering I had nearly ten years out of them. Every cloud and silver linings.

  3. No snow this morning although the roads have a fair bit of standing water on them. Temperatures are still on the high side for snow, that may change today. Gritters were out in force in Aberdeen around 6am, most of which were spreading copious amounts of salt.
