    The BBC and met office have got this so wrong! Have you seen this mornings graphics on breakfast? Appalling, much further south than the PPN is predicted to be.

    Mate I live right next to the river Mersey. We had snow 5 minutes from here but my location had sleet. So sad. I moved in September 2022. 5 years is crazy mate I need some elevation! Had more in south east England!

    I don’t trust that GFS run as far as I could throw it. Blowing up lows and tomorrow’s/sundays is too far north imo I’d expect it to be further south than that.

    I can’t believe you’re all having such a disagreement when Santa Claus is literally on his way to town! To add my two pennies worth in, I do think there could be a flip this afternoon, heaven knows why but it seems the overnight runs always leave a sour mood in here in the mornings.

    Sorry I know you’re all much more knowledgeable than me and that, but does anyone else just have this feeling that the return to mild isn’t as dead certain as some people are making out? I mean if the cold can hang on until Tuesday, that’s day 5/6! Anything can happen imo.

    Something I’ve learned the past few years on here is that these things usually correct well south of first indication. I know it sort of sucks for southern counties wanting snow on Thursday, but bigger picture it increases and prolongs the cold.
