  1. Beginning to think I shouldn’t have moved to Runcorn still hopeful though
  2. Heavy icy sleet streamer here now. I hope @Kasim Awan is right as this falling as snow would be extremely intense
  3. Hey man I live in the old town can confirm no settling snow from that shower
  4. Is this system further west than predicted? It seems to be as Carlisle getting in on the action.. Seems like it isn’t decaying and separating as much as forecast either?
  5. Is it just me or does the PPN on radar due to head south this evening look more intense than what was forecast?
  6. Anyone wanna recreate WHAM’s Last Christmas video with me this time next week? If the models continue this way, surely snow is going to come before long.
  7. Yes we will further south it is we hold onto colder air longer as per ECM/UKMO.
  8. ECM isn’t great Mean and ens won’t follow the op but yet some will still be patting themselves on the back and overreacting to each op model run. Typical
  9. The thing is models can be liable to push back milder air run by run when cold is in situ it can become very stubborn. I wouldn’t be surprised if this happens again. Far too many people worrying about the breakdown when even the breakdown could produce lots of snow for some, thereafter who knows we might even be able to hold onto the cold.
  10. Over in the World Cup thread I made fun of the Brazilians for dancing when they scored earlier, but with charts like this…. I think I’ll be dancing too!
  11. For those wondering Thursdays snow is still there for NW England. sorry can’t zoom in
  12. I really wish those of you making flippant comments before the run has even come out fully or been analysed by someone more knowledgeable than you could just hold off a bit
  13. Can’t seem to save to phone like @Eskimoasked me too but have zoomed in. here’s Thursdays gfs 12z precip charts. Still showing
  14. GFS precipitation charts for Thursday still shows snow moving north to south across the country followed by further disturbances / features on Friday and Saturday.
