    A nice covering of snow first thing this morning,no more than 2cm though. A few more hail and snow showers during the morning,all melted during afternoon.

    Had some showers this afternoon of rain sleet and wet snow. Current lamp-post watch indicates a light snow shower.

    Woke up to a covering of about 2cm this morning,with more snow showers through the morning and first part of the afternoon. The snow was all melted by late afternoon,light showers of rain/ice pellets at the moment.

    A light dusting of snow first thing this morning,which must have fallen in the early hours. A few light hail showers(i refuse to use the word graupel ) during the morning and early afternoon.

    Had some heavy showers today with hail and sleet mixed in. Showers have turned more to snow in the last couple of hours,with a light dusting on grass,but still to wet to lie on roads and pavements.

    Moderate snow here at the moment,fairly wet stuff so it is not settling but a nice suprise all the same.

    Had a light dusting of hail/snow overnight which is still lying thanks to a frost. More to come by the look of the sky.

    Had some snow showers today giving a light covering,especially this morning when the snow fell onto a frosty ground. Had a couple of snow showers in the afternoon which were quite heavy,although it didn't settle due to higher temps.

    Well that was the best storm i've seen here for a few years,it lasted a good hour with almost constant thunder and lightning. Great view of the cloud responsible to my north-east,still with some lightning visible.

    5 or 6 rumbles of thunder here in the last quarter of an hour,wind picking up a lot,rain getting heavier.

    A nice dump of 5 inches of snow here in the early hours of the morning. All the trees were covered in snow,and looked even better with the morning sun shining on them.Quite beutiful. Almost brought a tear to my eye,or was that the freezing cold?

    Had a heavy snow shower at about 4am,which fell on top of a hard frost giving about another inch of snow. A heavy spell of snow occured between 1.00pm and 2.30pm leaving 2 inches on the ground and some minor transport problems. Currently clear.

    Had a light covering of snow this morning from overnight showers,some of which were quite heavy. Snowing lightly at the moment.

    Had some heavy snow showers this morning,adding to previous falls. A bit drier in the afternoon with only light snow showers. Light snow now,but with a freshning wind.

    Thunder and lightning and heavy snow here now,four flashes of lightning from this particular shower. It just doesn't get any better than this! B)
