Dark cloud all round Macc yesterday, got off lightly with two convective big rain drop showers which just about wet the ground, yesterday max 11.8°C. Bright first thing, has since clouded over, min of 2°C in the night.

Yes, I thought todays showers were due tomorrow. Showered on and off all day, latter half of afternoon drier. Noticeably cooler without the bursts of sunshine, managed to scrape 9°C. In the last throws of April now, it has so far only produced 5 dry days here.

Can't help you with the back rub, sorry
I've had a stiff cup of tea and a couple of nurofen, done the trick.

moochops Yes, I've managed a few hours out tidying up outside, been moss scraping, it's all over everything, ornaments, tubs, sides of walls. Need a good back rub now. 4 days now April has produced a dry day that is usable. Brightness came late afternoon.
Pink moon tonight, named by N Americans, pink because of a wild pink flower called phlox covering the ground, indicative that spring has sprung.

Yes, pleasant blue sky dry start, 6.8°C 8am. I'm still putting my heating on first thing to take out the early morning chill, is everybody else getting by with any heating on yet?

Morning all. Dry start temp earlier at 6am was 7.2°C so no frost here this am. Yesterday was only the second day so far this month without any rainfall the whole day long, tis a bit poor. Rain moving down into the region at some point later today.

Few dry hours mid morning. Been underneath or just on the edge of that stream going through the region, odd brief bright spell but had showers on and off, typical April weather. Really, really want May to shine.

8.4 °C 7am. Quite windy here making it feel much colder, and it's raining, needed big coat on just to feed the birds.

Blue echoes all around here but Macc bone dry at the moment. Yes, some excitement for a bit of heat next week, one of my sister's gardens is still half under water and unworkable. Parts of the region may see 20°C on Wednesday if this chart verifies.
Last decent warmth here was the 11th April when a pleasant 17.5°C was reached, wet by tea time though.
