  1. Chris.R sorry you are clouded out. I'm sending you some blue sky and out west I've a few Lenticulars too.
  2. WillinGlossop Breached 16°C here too. Lovely blue sky. Yes, the wind is quite gusty at times blowing my rubbish bags about as I'm trying to tidy outside. My peony Bush has a few buds on.
  3. Here's UKVs current look at the precipitation at a glance, 11pm Wednesday and how it looks at 3am Thursday.
  4. Morning. A double figure start today 10°C, overcast but bright enough, and the wind is still a bit blowy. Some interest for some T and L in the early hours of Thursday am, might be worth a watch.
  5. European storms have put their outlook out now, to include the early hours of Thursday morning. More parts of the UK now within a risk area. May see something a bit further North, perhaps.
  6. viking_smb No idea, just been on there, still no update.
  7. Dark Horse Got the heating on now for a quick warm up, just been out shopping, that wind is a bit on the chilly side. Tis great to see you back posting on the forum.
  8. European storms Lab has Wednesdays risk in its sights, moving in off the continent in the evening. Interesting one to watch.
  9. Managed a little rain here this pm, enough to wet the ground. Most of the day being dry and usable. Max of 14.3°C and a notable breeze.
  10. Milder start at almost 8°C, 7am. Overcast, some dampness, not sure of a shower during the night. Dry for now.
  11. Rain Lady yes, sunny here, dig out the hose pipe. We have had the ice cream van doing its rounds this afternoon.
  12. Joe Snow Wednesdays potential warmth and possible 20°C has been put back to Thursday.
  13. Woke up to rain first thing. Much brighter now with the odd burst of sunshine, just nudging 9°C.
  14. Blue echoes all around here but Macc bone dry at the moment. Yes, some excitement for a bit of heat next week, one of my sister's gardens is still half under water and unworkable. Parts of the region may see 20°C on Wednesday if this chart verifies. Last decent warmth here was the 11th April when a pleasant 17.5°C was reached, wet by tea time though.
  15. Dark cloud all round Macc yesterday, got off lightly with two convective big rain drop showers which just about wet the ground, yesterday max 11.8°C. Bright first thing, has since clouded over, min of 2°C in the night.
  16. Beautiful clear start to the day, was 1°C at 6am but felt colder, couldn't see any frost. Currently still clear, but some cloud appearing in the distant NE.
  17. Yes, I thought todays showers were due tomorrow. Showered on and off all day, latter half of afternoon drier. Noticeably cooler without the bursts of sunshine, managed to scrape 9°C. In the last throws of April now, it has so far only produced 5 dry days here.
  18. Yes, ground slightly damp. Temp down to 1.8°C in the night. Currently 3.3°C .
  19. Lovely day, lots of sunshine. Had another walk, canal beautiful, made a brew by some classic cars , could feel the warmth of the sun tingling my face, UV levels increasing. A pleasant evening ahead here.
  20. Cold feel to start the day was 5°C 6am. Blue sky and broken cloud, looks clearer to the east. Yesterday max was 12.7°C.
  21. WillinGlossop Did you see any of the London Marathon? UKV has rain moving in on Friday.
  22. moochops Yes, I've managed a few hours out tidying up outside, been moss scraping, it's all over everything, ornaments, tubs, sides of walls. Need a good back rub now. 4 days now April has produced a dry day that is usable. Brightness came late afternoon. Pink moon tonight, named by N Americans, pink because of a wild pink flower called phlox covering the ground, indicative that spring has sprung.
  23. Yes, pleasant blue sky dry start, 6.8°C 8am. I'm still putting my heating on first thing to take out the early morning chill, is everybody else getting by with any heating on yet?
