  1. Morning, mild, damp and grey, hardly a breeze, 11°C. Endless LP dominance.
  2. Yes, wasn't too bad here today, raining now though. Wet outlook with things warming up a bit. Last year the max for my area during April was on the 29th, Rostherne recorded 18°C, with 48.6mm rain recorded for the month. Really looking forward to a decent dry spell.
  3. That's it, brightness short lived. Tipping down now, and any potential electrics in this cell lived and died in Stoke.
  4. Turned out quite a decent late pm around my part of Cheshire. Had a run out, around Holmes Chapel near Jodrell Bank, it did feel chilly when walking, needed my gloves. Cells moving towards us look potent. @Chris.R 2nd strike from the cell south east of Crewe. Not done bad considering it looks like it's been dire for some parts of the NW.
  5. Ahh, the rain back already, 7.4°C. Wet here, drizzle. Birds very active and waiting for their meal worms and seeds earlier. So, will April dry things up a bit?
  6. *Stormforce~beka* you're missing some T and L back home in Winchester.
  7. Mainly overcast and temp here topped out at 13.3°C. Some cloud clearance for a bright pleasant first lighter longer evening. So the new month starts off with rain, tut.
  8. Morning all. Another Bobby dazzler of a morning, hardly a breeze and 8.5°C. Skies have gone a little milky. Off round the house now to change clocks. Enjoy your day whatever your choice of activity, post a pic. @Weather-history I love this pic, it feels like he is staring the viewer right in the eye.
  9. Perfect weather for a couple of hours out. Max of 14.4°C and the sun was out all day. Got to see some lambs up close at Wildboarclough. Didn't walk much, fields like mud baths.
  10. *Stormforce~beka* welcome back fo the NW Beka, how long are you visiting for? Have you some days out planned?
  11. Beautiful start, dazzled by the sun out feeding the birds. Pleasant 8.2°C (8.30am), and the radar is looking ' day out' friendly at the moment. What is everybody up to? Enjoy your day.
  12. Yes, the rainy days have been unrelenting, sunny spells short lived. Tomorrow looks half decent, risk of a shower. Daughter taking me out for a few hours, hope to have a bit of a walk too, try to avoid bank Holiday crowds.
  13. Slight risk again for a bit of T and L for the western half of UK from European Severe Storms. Parts of NW could be in with a shout again.
  14. Tomorrow's outlook from European Severe Storm. Slight risk concentrated more for the Western side of the UK.
  15. Had really heavy downpour little while ago. Some strikes SE of Macc, but too far away to hear. Nice show of mammatus on it's back edge as the shower cleared.
  16. Had a right downpour a little while ago. Some strikes SE of Macc, too far away to hear. Nice show of mammatus on it's back edge.
  17. Had a few rumbles here Macc. No lightning observed, had sunshine and a rainbow at the same time.
  18. Chris.R My radio is picking a few strikes up now. Wow first rumble here, just as I type. Not directly overhead.
  19. Chris.R some of the echoes on the radar are looking meaty at the moment. Clouded over, sunshine only lasting for half the day, more fortunate than some though. Here is the rain.
  20. Morning. Looks like a mixed bag ahead, rain, hail, T and L? Nice here for now, just tipped over 7°C, grey and overcast but the sun keeps trying to burst through. We are long overdue a decent dry spell. Man Airport outlook today.
  21. Much of the UK is in with a shout again tomorrow, European Severe storms' outlook.
