It's groundhog day, forget the models, let's see if the groundhog sees his shadow or not. Apparently he will be out in just over an hour in Pennsylvania.
Scuba steve Ah, paying Bollington, the 'Happy Valley' a visit are you? I can see White Nancy just about from an upstairs window, I'll give you a wave. Please bring some snow, if not, cold sunshine will suffice
Day 10 same here, We hope it's snow, it's snow........ I remember the advert well.
Cold start min of 1.4°C and was sunny. Currently 7.3°C and has been mostly cloudy, it's dry.
Mod thread getting more animated
The cold front moving through the region tomorrow could be a bit lively with sleet, hail and possible T and L. Some strong gusts too for the more northern parts of the region, up to 60mph, will be a bit windy.
cheshire snow it's looking very interesting at this stage, but it's a little too far out for me at the moment. Todays deep dive alluded to a cold spell but went no further with details. I'll certainly be watching with hope
Not as bad as I thought, this morning was wet. Managed to stay dry doing a few errands on foot this pm. Nudging 12°C. Low cloud has sat on the tops all day, been quite foggy on the Cat road.
Cold wind and no sunshine, 8°C. Yes, tomorrow looks awful, need to go out in it, I can't put it off, nasty if your job is an outdoors one. Tuesday looks wet, possible squall to look out for on Weds.
@Day 10 yes there's still time for winter to prove it still exists, I hope to see some snow before it takes its final bow.
meanwhile, 8.2°C, the sun is trying to shine, as others have said, it feels more spring like.
