  1. @moochops I don't mind cold frosty days, I love snow too, but if it isn't going to happen, like you, I want Spring to burst forth in all its green, sunny mildness. Long may @Rain Lady snowdrops burst open and flower, a welcome sight on any grey day.
  2. Not been a bad day at all here. Max of 11.1°C and a dry and bright afternoon, dregs of daylight lasting until almost 5pm now. Only 37 days to meteorological spring.
  3. Still a little blowy and a temp of 9°C, a number of wheelie bins strewn about, thankfully my fence is still in place. Hope everyone's damage if any is minimal.
  4. Right, just a test. I've got it. Thanks.
  5. I'm not the brightest flash in a thunderstorm, but, why will it only seem to let me quote one word and not a sentence?
  6. @silent Snow lover hello and welcome to the Netweather Forum. The wind makes me nervous too, they are long nights waiting for the wind to abate. I hope all is well this morning.
  7. @Dark Horse If there's not going to be any more snow, then I'm all for spring like conditions to come early with sunshine and warmth.
  8. As others have said, the gusts sound and feel more stronger that Isha. There's a couple of wheelie bins on their way to the park, my bathroom extractor fan sounds like @Had Worse bagpiper and the lights have flickered x3 since 9.30pm. No doubt be fun and games at Man Airport.
  9. Very grey and wet. Lots of surface water on the roads. River Mersey had a bit of torrent on at Northenden, levels looked OK.
  10. Tuesday looks a bit wet regionwide. You could do without this tomorrow then.
  11. The night/morning passed quite uneventful, thankfully. Everything literally IMBY seems to be in its place and I haven't gained any items either. Road appears free of brick or slate. Heard some decent gusts, thankfully that was all I heard. Glad majority of us escaped unscathed, sorry for those now facing repairs and the cost of any damage. A bright sunny start, yes it's a bit blowy still, 7.1°C. Felt pleasant out feeding the birds earlier.
  12. Sit tight, it will pass. Sounds like your getting it quite rough. Not much support am I? The wind fears me too. I'm watching old episodes of Time Team with my headphones in and the volume turned up, as well as checking this thread, it's a good distraction not hearing all the gusts.
  13. After a relatively dry and mild day it's tipping down currently, winds at the moment feel just like a windy, gusty night, I hope I've not cursed it. Rostherne max at 12.6°C today, pretty mild.
  14. Yes a good event here. Amber warning given for rain. In the evening temps fell, rain turned to sleet then snow. Had about 5cms here by 11pm.
  15. Good Morning. Mild at 7.8°C, wet on the ground, no evidence at all now of any snowfall. Grey and overcast. It's calm here, I think the winds start to pep up around 12pm ish. Some parts of the region will definitely feel it. Roof recently done, I hope the chimney stays in one piece and on the roof.
  16. Thanks moochops, I'm not the brightest flash in a storm, it confused me there.
  17. I read it as just a rain warning for Cheshire, my area too. I'm easily confused, or is it not clear.
