Couple of squalls to look out for too possibly, one Sat and one Sun.

All changed again. Lovely sunshine and blue skies. Nice cloud inversion on the hills, and there's still plenty of snow on the tops.

Snizzle, now got cold snizzle. Grey and dark, looked promising before sunrise, it's all a bit miserable now.

Temp almost -2. On foot to GPS, tis a bit slippy in places, there's a fog dropping.

Had no further snow here last night, in fact there's less lying snow than before yesterday evening. It's slippy though, there's a thin layer of ice on the bird table, currently -1.

Hoping for you that the roads don't get too icy as you travel for your operation tomorrow, hope all goes well.

Still a fair bit of snow lying about. Temp 2.6°C at 4.30pm, snow felt slushy still when I had a poke at it. Hope there's plenty of salt spreaders about tonight. Remaining snow IMBY just before dusk.

It's absolutely beautiful out here. Needed a blood test at 8am so I walked. Enjoying a right old stomp around in the snow. Wrap up and get out.

Intensity has eased, gone back to the very fine snow it started with. Nice covering though. Cat and Fiddle road looks to still be open.

Yes, I'm the only dingbat on the road hanging out of their bedroom window getting a nice covering now, no depth though.

No big wet flakes yet, really fine snow, just a slight covering.

Light snow falling now. (3.25am).

Can see the odd flake on the Crewe railcam. Under pink echoes, nothing falling from the sky yet, clouded over, cannot see any stars. Outside window ledge is still bone dry. Man Airport last reading at a glance at 2.20am -2°C , dp-4°C.

When my cat was alive, many a time I would be stood at the back door calling him whilst banging on a tin of whiskas with a spoon, he'd be sat behind me in the warmth of the house watching me. -3.5°C currently Macc. Tablet just flashed up a warning, ' may be slippery, snow possible after 4.30am and chance gone up to 57%'

From GFS is it. Looks like snow quickly turning to rain event. -3°C currently Macc.

Will need to have my nose pressed up against the window between 3am and 6am tomorrow if I want to see snow IMBY. That's if it falls.

What a fantastic day it has been, max of just 1°C, super feel good weather, lots more of the same please if I'm not going to see any snow. Temp falling now, -1°C.
