  1. Rain here, a bit sleety. Dusting on the Cat n Fiddle, traffic is moving pretty freely.
  2. Had a brief rain shower just after 6.30. Just a couple of the 03z UKV charts of how it sees the next few hours.
  3. Morning all. Temp 2.5°C. All is very calm, under pinks and greens on the radar, fed the birds a few mins ago, it's dry as a bone out. Nothing falling from the sky yet.
  4. Nice out today isn't it? Had a little exercise walk, it didn't feel overly cold at all, 5.5°C and refreshing, saw a chap setting up his mower to do his front grass.
  5. Low of 0°C, currently 1.5°C overcast and dry, far better than yesterday's wet washout. Met O forecast midday tomorrow mirror's the UKV chart. Still unsure what will fall on my garden shed, rain, sleet or big fluffy white flakes, nose against the window and nowcasting tomorrow.️️
  6. Tis a bit windy here too. 11°C and rain. Within 48 hours now of potential snow fall for here, at 150m asl and possibly in a void/shield how much this location sees is a nowcast. Fortunately I will not have far to go to find it or watch it fall on the tops. It's all good fun watching and waiting, I hope every single one of us gets what they are waiting for
  7. Thunder Snow As long as your email address is current to your log in to netweather, you don't need to do anything. I just checked it on the email update thread. Any questions, just ask on that thread, Paul is prompt and helpful.
  8. My email is a current one, I don't use any other. I don't need to do anything do I?
  9. Spah1 I got a feeling I could be watching snow fall out to the east of Macc, onto the tops of the south Peak District come Thursday. It will all come down to nowcasting, radar watching.
  10. Good Morning. Another damp, dull start and 10.1°C. Some really interesting weather to watch over the next few days, I honestly don't mind Spring being put on hold to make way for cold and hopefully everyone sees some snow. Some lovely charts have been posted already, here's UKVs current outlook.
  11. That sounds like 'Jins' restaurant, full of beams and old world charm inside, great food too.
  12. Chris.R yes an event over the 9th,10th, and 11th March last year at some point most of the region saw some snow. There was a strong wind too the night of the 9th into the early hours which caused some deep drifts over the tops Buxton way. Despite the winter wonderland scenes on the 10th, the snow didn’t hang about.
  13. Was drizzly 6am and the birds were shouting for their meal worms , a mild start 11°C, doesn't feel it though. Currently overcast but dry. Rostherne had a max of 14.1°C yesterday.
  14. Not much sun here, not complaining as not had the drizzle like some. Felt fit enough for a walk again today, depressing to see the amount of buildings going up left, right and centre, but the signs of Spring cheered me up. To have some snow would be great.
  15. It's groundhog day, forget the models, let's see if the groundhog sees his shadow or not. Apparently he will be out in just over an hour in Pennsylvania.
  16. Scuba steve Ah, paying Bollington, the 'Happy Valley' a visit are you? I can see White Nancy just about from an upstairs window, I'll give you a wave. Please bring some snow, if not, cold sunshine will suffice
  17. Morning . Looks quite foggy on the tops. Nudging 7°C, 9am, clear and dry at lower levels. The birds were very vocal this am, so put extra food out.
  18. Day 10 Snowman, penguin and your garden gnome are out we need all the support we can get, a week is a very long time in weather world.
  19. Day 10 definite bank, tasty looking charts. Hope they gather momentum and not fizzle out to rain.
