  1. Rain here but has intermittent touches of sleet in it. 4.2°C and the odd blow of the wind. Looks to be having a bit of a dusting on the A537 Cat Cam.
  2. Yes, snow fell east of Macc early hours 10th March, chaos over the tops Buxton, Sheffield due to drifting. Macc had very little, the sun melted it later that day.
  3. Snow patches defiantly clinging on here. Cling ons. Clear sky and temp 3.2°C (8pm). Not looking forward to the weekend weather, it's the wind, wind is my least favourite, it fears me when it's really gusty.
  4. Watched last night's snow showers brush west of Macc, no top up here, just a smidgen too far East for them. Still got a considerable amount of residual snow lying about in places, and on roofs. Minus 1.8°C currently, slippery and frosty out. Birds got more food again today, fresh unfrozen water and an extra fat ball. Bit overcast.
  5. App on tablet here, just flashed up snow showers at 20.30. Glad a few have had a covering so far.
  6. -1°C, at Cheadle A34, there's abit of traffic about Clear skies above.
  7. Thanks Rain Lady, been a day of tests and a post operative check up, all is healing well. Next step radiotherapy whenever that will commence. I'm on my way home now. Onwards and upwards.
  8. I want a bit more snow, I hope to be home before it starts though. Lots of waiting round today and various tests prior to radiotherapy treatment, looks like I'll be a little while yet. The radar is my window.
  9. Currently 2°C, reporting from Manchester Royal. Been shunted to various rooms without windows, so loving all the pics. Cannot see if any cloud is building.
  10. Currently -7°C Macc, ground/ soil is frozen solid, I've put extra out for the birds. Their bowl was frozen to the table, so they have second bowl of water today. Stunning sunshine, I love the early orange glow it makes even the most ugliest building look like pretty Cotswold honey coloured stone.
  11. I know automated forecasts are to be taken lightly, but my tablet app is now showing snow for later, one eye will be on the radar.
  12. Feeling chilly in the house, heating is back on. -7.2°C, currently Macc. Any precipitation at the moment is just over the Dee estuary approaching Chester. Shap in double minus digits, -11°C.
  13. Fantastic pic, lovely part of the region to live. Can see Winter Hill from a number of elevated spots above Macc.
  14. January 2010 wasn't that also the big freeze at Woodford, got to - 17.6°C Dec 2022 froze my washing machine pipe, water would not empty, -10°C Currently -3°C.
  15. Yes, I grabbed a screen shot from this web cam about 8am this morning, it took my breath away. I would love a view like this. Been some great pics posted today. Blencathra is stunning.
  16. All changed again. Lovely sunshine and blue skies. Nice cloud inversion on the hills, and there's still plenty of snow on the tops.
  17. Snizzle, now got cold snizzle. Grey and dark, looked promising before sunrise, it's all a bit miserable now.
  18. Temp almost -2. On foot to GPS, tis a bit slippy in places, there's a fog dropping.
  19. Had no further snow here last night, in fact there's less lying snow than before yesterday evening. It's slippy though, there's a thin layer of ice on the bird table, currently -1.
  20. Hoping for you that the roads don't get too icy as you travel for your operation tomorrow, hope all goes well.
  21. Still a fair bit of snow lying about. Temp 2.6°C at 4.30pm, snow felt slushy still when I had a poke at it. Hope there's plenty of salt spreaders about tonight. Remaining snow IMBY just before dusk.
