The cold front moving through the region tomorrow could be a bit lively with sleet, hail and possible T and L. Some strong gusts too for the more northern parts of the region, up to 60mph, will be a bit windy.
cheshire snow it's looking very interesting at this stage, but it's a little too far out for me at the moment. Todays deep dive alluded to a cold spell but went no further with details. I'll certainly be watching with hope
Not as bad as I thought, this morning was wet. Managed to stay dry doing a few errands on foot this pm. Nudging 12°C. Low cloud has sat on the tops all day, been quite foggy on the Cat road.
Cold wind and no sunshine, 8°C. Yes, tomorrow looks awful, need to go out in it, I can't put it off, nasty if your job is an outdoors one. Tuesday looks wet, possible squall to look out for on Weds.
@Day 10 yes there's still time for winter to prove it still exists, I hope to see some snow before it takes its final bow.
meanwhile, 8.2°C, the sun is trying to shine, as others have said, it feels more spring like.
Tis a bit benign. Anyone thinking of washing the salt off their cars this weekend? Southern flow is bringing Saharan dust Sat, Sun, and into Monday. Mild temps, and if it's clear there could be some orange sun rise and sunsets.
Been a stunning day, but felt chilly. Some small branch debris about this morning, and there's still a few fields looking water logged. Clear, dry night ahead, temp at 8pm 3.8°C.
Yes, I couldn't settle back to sleep, there's been some window rattling gusts. Not as wet outside as I thought it would be, but noticed how the temperature has dropped, 12°C at 2.30am, just 4 and a bit hours later its just nudging 6°C. Still a bit windy out here.
@moochops I don't mind cold frosty days, I love snow too, but if it isn't going to happen, like you, I want Spring to burst forth in all its green, sunny mildness. Long may @Rain Lady snowdrops burst open and flower, a welcome sight on any grey day.
