  1. Sorry, I missed this earlier - thanks for the info
  2. It's still edging north-westwards and has intensified in the south-west Midlands
  3. Heaviest snow of the evening here now - the bits that were clear are now being covered!
  4. Yes it is settling here, but not as much as I expected when I saw what was brewing on the radar earlier.
  5. Don't be greedy - you get all the flood water!
  6. You can't pin this one on us - it's passing through Upton before it reaches here!
  7. Latest NW radar: Looks like it's pepped up south-west of here.
  8. Thanks for the report from Hereford - forum posts from people in Hereford seem to be like hens' teeth!
  9. Cheers minus 9, it looks like it might get even better for you soon!
  10. Thanks for popping over, Lynxus, the radar suggests you're in the sweet spot at present.
  11. Probably the heaviest it's been here now. Latest radar:
  12. Just a flying visit from the West Mids thread. It looks great on the radar for those in Gloucester, Ross and, shortly, Hereford - is anyone in the Gloucester-Ross-Hereford triangle willing to pop onto the West Mids thread and let us know how things are where you are please?
  13. Are you sure there isn't a snow shield over your house?!
  14. What temp and dew point do you have, Barbmac?
  15. Here's another radar graphic. The snow is quite heavy here but still wet. Unless it gets heavier, I suspect it won't make much impact in places which don't already have lying snow. Looks like they're getting pasted in Ross-on-Wye!
  16. White-out conditions being reported in Gloucester, but where will it head to from there...... Anyone in Hereford around to report what's happening there?
  17. You could be well set there, but anything seems to be possible with the weather lately!
  18. Looks like the intense patch will miss Malvern to the west now unless it peps up
  19. The yellow patches in the NW radar image below, just to the south-west of Tewkesbury, could come to Malvern and give us what should be the heaviest period of snow so far this winter!
  20. It may well reach you, looking at it's current rate of progress, as long as it doesn't stall or fizzle out.
  21. No, Barbmac, I'm at the north end as well. It's been snowing quite heavily here for a while but I think it's quite wet snow because, although it's settling readily on cars and the already lying snow from the other day, it isn't making much impression on the ruts that car wheels have taken out of the snow in the road or on any clear ground. Despite it being widespread across southern England and south Wales now, the latest BBC forecast I've seen (7.30) shows the precip fading away quite quickly and becoming confined to the West Mids. I'm having a struggle buying that though looking at the extent of what the radar's showing now. Still, what do I know?!
  22. Snowing here now! Just light at present, consistent with the radar, but there are some bigger flakes.
