    Nice little cell has popped up and is moving straight at me weird thing is, if I was just going from the cloud movement, (rather than the radar,) I'd swear It was going to pass us, as the clouds are moving towards the WNW whilst the radar shows the storm moving NNE'wards

    And the heavens doth open! Ahhhh! the glorious screams of the NFH's kids getting caught in the downpour and the smell of petrichor, can't ask for much more other than some Lightning to go with it

    Fine.... The visualisation of the rapidly expand sonic shockwave radiating out from it's point of origin. Better (I still prefer thunder circle though )

    Yeah that things been sitting almost perfectly still over Cardiff/Newport for almost an hour now and it's still growing o_O bet theres' some bad flooding beginning to occur there :s

    Just noticed on the radar that even though this rain band is traveling to the NW the very edge of the SW side is traveling to the SE?????? The exact opposite direction???? Is this going to cause any potential storms where the 2 different wind directions meet?

    Just started raining where I am, nothing showing on the radar though, but it has been looking like Zeus is about to have a throw down all day

    Just noticed a new line beginning to form over Worcester. Got a feeling that ones just going to clip us in Stoke though, like this ones doing. Got a feeling the back edge of the trough is just past us now

    Can hear rumbling again EDIT, looks like it's over Cheadle way, Pretty loud considering the distance o_O

    This thing It's lost it's shape now but it was like this for about 10-15 mins. Started smaller and expanded out wards

    The one just NE of Birmingham looks like a backwards letter C, that's supposedly a bad thing right?

    That little one I was keeping an eye on (W of Wolverhampton), has gone from blues and greens to orange, red and a bit of purple *Rubs hands together gleefully and throws windows open*

    There's stuff beginning to pop up everywhere, think the cap finally broke? Also nice Squall line developing in the channel :D

    Whelp, heard another 2 rumbles of thunder (no flashes) but it's north of me now and essentially behind the big ass hill I'm halfway down. Why couldn't it have started earlier T_T *crosses fingers in the hope of something from the one just west of Wolverhampton

    I can second this, other than about 30 seconds of warm drizzle about 30 mins or so ago, nothing wet has touched the ground saw Virga passing by a couple times, but other than that, nothing
