I know I was proper impressed with her! Age 7 and did better than me LOL! She printed it off and has taken it to school to show everyone in the class.
She got a video too but you have forward to 1 minute 50 seconds odd to see it lol. And it's just a quick flash with a slight forkey bit. Not as good as the photo!
Always good to get them into it at a young age! I've taken my 9 year old son out twice now this year and he's had 2 direct hits already,he was buzzing but we did get a pretty close CG and he said he nearly crapped his panties!

Some nice new cells forming in the cold pool of the line earlier potentially with Sussex written all over it. Been watching this develop for a while. Storm over the Purbeck area in Dorset looks nice. I don't think we are quite done just yet.

Must have had a lovely view! I really should try and make it out more when it is going to be stormy! That's on my way home from work
It's the best viewpoint I go to buddy, it's always my first port of call when I go out because the visuals are good for 30-40miles and I can see what direction the storms are moving and how things are developing in the channel. That gives me time to plan my move and try to get under the worst areas. I'd highly recommend you check it out if you pass nearby, I've scoped out and know many spots and this one's my go too for imports 100 percent.

Evening all,a nice suprise little chase this evening. Still haven't summarized the last few nights yet but will get round to it. Nice little storm just passed over this evening here with some torrential rain and some half decent lightning. Nothing in comparison to what happened here a few nights ago but still worthy of getting out again. Good luck to anyone who is out on the chase tonight. Storms are moving NNE from here.

A number of shotgun explosions here in Herne Bay, very decent storm!
Nice mate glad to hear you're getting a good one! Had some very loud thunder here in West Sussex earlier and even saw a cg hit the carriageway as I was driving to another location,if only I had dash cam!

Anyone east of Hastings along to Kent should be seeing a nasty little storm in the channel approaching the Dover straight,I can see the sky flickering constantly from here and I'm over 40 miles away!

Bit late to the party tonight as out on a suprise chase and thought this lot was heading a little west of me!How wrong I was. Absolute scenes up at my veiwpoint tonight again at devil's dyke just north of hove! Some really decent strikes and some very loud thunder. And the icing on the cake was a huge CG that hit the road about 100yards in front of me on the A27 on my way to ditchling beacon! If I had dash cam it would have been phenomenal! I've got directly under 2 storms in less than 24 hours and only had to travel about 30miles over the 2 nights. Might even have a dig on the lottery at the weekend! Hope people who went out again tonight got lucky and the mid Sussex storm shield has been completely obliterated over the last 2 nights!

I've just been treated to something truly spectacular tonight here in West Sussex! There are a few others on here fairly close to where I was that have seen this unfold over the channel. Twice in two weeks I've hit the jackpot and got directly under some decent storms. I will summarize tomorrow but well done to all that saw the storms tonight!

Been sat north of Worthing watching this move in for a while but it has recently picked up in intensity, occasional clear view of distant CG, accompanied by distant thunder. Air is beautifully still.
Im sat up on devils dyke not to far from where you are and its absolutely unreal from up here!

This is some serious amount of lightning I'm seeing from up here! Hopefully it moves in fairly soon because it could be an absolute monster of a storm!
