  1. Problem is north Kent is between broadstairs and Dartford. That's easily a 50 mile line. Do you mean north west Kent like around gravesend and west kingsdown?
  2. I think the East Kent downs are doing much better than the west Kent downs. Reports of snow cover in Pelham and that's at the bottom of a valley
  3. Think that pic is near aylesham. Got some altitude there. It's still a positive sign though
  4. Maybe Boxley downs have snow but I'd get soaked by walking up there. Onwards and upwards ay
  5. That precipitation radar is hopeless it's not snowing even 15 miles from the Thames Just rain like the last 13 hours.
  6. You what. I'm keeping up hope but ,, it's still rainy and I'm glad I never told anyone. Maybe by 10.00 hopefully all hell will break loose
  7. Christ some one said it's snowing in ramsgate. That's even more rare than isles of Scilly So don't give up yet
  8. Well it's deffo still rainy sleet in this area. But it's near to the transition I think.
  9. It's a frontal event at the moment, so I'm not sure the dynamics are the same as convective snow shower or daggler events
  10. I know that very well. But to be fair It snows even less in broadstairs so I'm hoping for some snow reports from there as well. That will clinch it
  11. That proves it in my mind. If it's snowing in Margate then things are going to plan.
  12. It will be snowing on Detling hill then. Still sleepy rain in the lowlands
  13. I know that the Automated forecasts are a load of billiards and it's been said in this thread a thousand times in last 24 hours. But I like your update
  14. Like I said to another member. If it's sleeting in folkestone or Dover then it will be a blizzard in Hawkinge or Whitfield
  15. Ok you win. I think it's 38.7 in Cambridge July 2019. But you are on a continent so you got a head start
  16. I doubt gravesend is doing much better than here. It's even lower to sea level, but things will change soon
  17. I'm on about the several hours of rain potentially turning to drifting snow. 2018 event began as snow on dry frosty ground
  18. From what I can gather Netherlands has been barren of snow for as long as South east England. That's why they are going crazy over it
