  1. B87 That set up of months would cause me to go on 2 more holidays & my bank balance to be emptied out But knowing how insanely stubborn this dull & wet pattern is these days, you probably won't be far off in your prediction!
  2. TwisterGirl81 Wow I see 11 hours & 13 hours in your last 3 days- an absolute pipe dream down in Shoeburyness! We haven't got over 10 hours of sun since 14th September 2023. Shoeburyness has been amazingly bad lately for sun, worst run on record & not a single full blue sky day to be seen. Glad I went away when I did haha.
  3. I have just came back from the future and can report how the rest of 2024 went! May 2024- Eerily similar to 2021, but a little bit duller somehow! Users went into meltdown at yet another waste of a month dominated by low pressure! June 2024- So bad that users were praising June 2012 in comparison with some folk saying "it weren't that bad in hindsight"! Not a single day was reported with over 8 hours sunshine in a truly remarkably woeful low pressure month! July 2024- "Bring back July 2023!" Cried the folk on here. Nowhere reached 20c and there was a stretch in the last half that went 13 days with zero sunshine & 150mm rain! August 2024- Similar vibes to 2008 & 2010 but far wetter, completing the worst Spring & Summer on record and making 1816, the year without a Summer, look phenomenal in comparison! September 2024- Not even a late Summer spel of fine weather as the low pressure stayed over the UK forever causing British parliament to rename our country to Cloudagascar. Brits rushed out on holidays to the Faroe Islands in order to get a bit of sun! October 2024 onwards- The same wet & dull theme continued and yet another late season SSW occurred in early March 2025 to ruin Spring 2025 too!
  4. raz.org.rain Probably got more chance of winning the euro millions 3 weeks on the trot than getting a 2018/2022 Summer again in our new era Faroe Island climate. I like your optimism though lol.
  5. Wimbledon88 No doubt they will still claim that April 2024 was the "hottest April ever!" like they do every month though lol
  6. In Absence of True Seasons Yeah it's like Londons UHI but on steroids lol
  7. Good grief Seville, I've never experienced humidity like this 30c but humidity is unreal, no breeze and genuinely feels like 50c! Sweating more than Phil Mitchell in a brewery. I think I finally understand the heat haters now if this is how they feel things Even I'm struggling with this haha. The pirates have even come ashore!
  8. Hola from Seville, have to pay money to see a sky like this these days! Lol. Hopefully I can bring the sun back with me when I'm home Saturday. In the mean time, hope you guys get some better spells of weather back home.
  9. Frigid Yeah April is often the sunniest month of the year or up there so it's a shame to get a massively dull one...after possibly the dullest 9 month stretch I've lived through lol. 2018 flip please.
  10. @cyclonic happinessYeah, I've noticed it. Seems that it's not just regular cloud we have to contend with but the poxy jet exhausts too lol. All combine to create an unsightly layer. Ive noticed it seems to be whenever BBC are forecasting sunshine & Met office are forecasting cloud, we seem to get this haze mix instead of either.
  11. That is the ugliest satellite imagery I have ever seen. Looks like someone has just scratched lines all over a chalkboard! Frankenskies lol. Hate this kind of airmass as even jet trails stick, expand and act as their own artificial cloud coverage so you have double the block
  12. Just booked 5 days in Seville from Monday. Had enough of the Faroe Islands life! All my money will be eradicated if this guff continues throughout the year Worth it to experience the rare phenomena of sunshine though! Not exactly getting it here lol.
  13. Think I'll be booking a short 4/5 day spell abroad for my week off next week. Forecast looks absolutely dire with hardly a spec of sunshine to be seen (as usual in this garbage country) and even rain has cropped up on most days now. The never ending unrelenting tsunami of raw sewage continues on and on and on!
  14. Just seen the sunshine figures from yesterday & apparently we only had 2 poxy hours! It was out for about 5 hours in my garden so either their sunshine recorder is as useful as a can of lynx to put out a house fire or it was just so extremely regional yesterday that one place could have sunshine & 20 mins down the road it was overcast? What a disappointment! Today has started off with grey crap too.
  15. Had a surprise few hours of sunshine today. Not a massive amount and still probably under half the day but much better than the recent guff. Was forecast to be grey all day by both the Met (didnt look for it but people kept posting it on here) & BBC and they both failed lol. Pleasant temperature too. Hopefully tomorrow will feature a lot of sunshine as me and the dog will greatly appreciate it! Lol.
  16. @B87If we did end up getting a May to October period anything like that, ill scream so loud in joy that id break the sound barrier. PLEASE
  17. @B87Absolutely praying the 1959 similarities continue through the year! @TwisterGirl81Just posted my sun table in the sunshine watch thread and noticed your area was in the bottom 10, so must be even worse down in Devon at the mo!
  18. *Stormforce~beka* wouldn't call 37 hours a fair bit as it equates to a rubbish 3.7 hours per day, way under par for April! 37 hours is bad and dull but other places were amazingly even worse! Lol.
  19. *Stormforce~beka* Low carb would definitely help with that! Highly recommended it when you get the chance
  20. April 1st-10th sunshine Erm...below average yet again! Nothing really to say, it's been pants as usual!
  21. In Absence of True Seasons What auto-immune illness do you have? I had UC back in late 2015/early 2016 & was told I would be on meds for life but began a low carb diet & have been on no meds since about 2018 & not only that, I don't even get ill anymore. Not saying that works for everyone but it worked for me, along with 4000iu plus of vitamin D with K2 per day. The power of nature over big pharma, who knew! A patient for life is a customer for life
  22. B87 I meant for the last 100 days in April, somehow forgot that point haha.
  23. Extremely surprising stat in April- For Heathrow, out of the last 100 days, 20c has only been reached twice! 2 out of 100. Wow. April 13th 2022- 20c April 15th 2022- 23c
  24. damianslaw Yeah, posting the first 10 days tomorrow, won't look good!
