    In what regard was the MJO/ AAM combo not conducive to UK cold and what will make it more conducive in early January, out of interest?

    Looks like models are converging on a dire solution for cold fans. Gutting seeing as background drivers almost all seemed primed for at least a decent cold spell for UK. Gutting tbf... Wonder why models have performed so spectacularly badly leading up to this?
