Low cloud & low visibility on top of the wolds today but incredibly still air. The noise from the usual bank holiday traffic on the main road didn’t travel at all, made for a very peaceful walk along the top. A warm 17 degrees despite no sun

Yes, had an unexpected very pleasant evening. Still T-shirt temp at almost 9pm as I walked a friend home. Hoping for more of the same to tomorrow ??

Yes, woken up to a good drizzly morning today….who’d have thought we’d ever get excited about rain in this country?? (Perfect morning to stay in & watch Douglas Fairbanks Jr as Sinbad the Sailor ️. Watching this as a kid was the first time I fell in love with pirates )

A glorious day to look at, & agree, nice in the sun. The general air temp this afternoon in the garden is pleasant (approx 16 degrees) but in the sun on my sun trap step….almost tropical!
