  1. Buy a large paddling pool saying it's for the kids when you have full intention of getting in yourself
  2. Going off the temp on my central heating thermostat in the hallway its currently 22c this is a new build house circa 2013 and wrapped in insulation
  3. way to go scaring me on a Thursday lunchtime
  4. I suppose it depended on where you were in the country here in the west Midlands I found it to be quite a good summer in terms of warm sunny weather and not to mention the first time in a good few years we had some decent thunderstorms instead of the one rumble wonders you tend to get nowadays
  5. What is this cloud that suddenly appears and took away those gorgeous blue skies, how dare it I blame the MET office app for changing this afternoons forecast they've gone and jinxed it....looking like its trying to clear from the west so hopefully the sun will be back out for this evening, I'm sticking to the BBC app unless they forecast grey skies too
  6. I always thought they were those tiny black bugs that are attracted to water that seem to swamp my pool this time of year see the buggers in the 1000s, I also could well be wrong here
  7. Well the heat is well and truly on with gorgeous blue skies and a bit of cirrus floating round, feeling really Mediterranean out there can't complain
  8. Those are like temps in Death valley
  9. Another lovely start to the day any morning cloud has now cleared and blue skies with a slight hint of cirrus but nothing to worry about temps warming up nicely although a slightly nagging North/Westerly breeze, hoping the temps are going to reflect yesterday as they were forecast to be around 23c up here and ended up around 27c
  10. What a glorious day its been blue skies from the word go, was a few fluffy clouds floating across about mid morning but as soon as that cleared the temps really started to lift, was recording 27c in the car at one point enough to warrant me to get the bbq out. Finally glad the high pressure has now started to establish itself and are feeling the summery benefits of it and looking good for next week too even with the slight cool off mid week it'll make the temps the following weekend feel really summer like when it warms up again, however long it lasts
  11. Need to get rid of this nagging breeze its definitely culling the temps a bit, was shocked how windy it was last night thought the gazebo was going to take off at one point I was thinking the same thing, its got the acceleration of a racing snail
  12. Started off with heavy cloud this morning and drizzle, I was even shocked I had to have the lights on first thing this morning as it was unusually dark for early July almost felt autumnal instead of summery but in the past hour or so the cloud is finally starting to break and feeling a tad warmer than earlier Hoping so I'm bored of this cloud fest now would be nice this is the start of the warm/potentially hot weather.
  13. Some lovely asperitas clouds going over right now, not sure if I've spelt that correctly or if it's the right cloud
  14. Do you mind trolling me with your glorious blue skies currently under a mass of grey cloud with the threat of light rain this afternoon
  15. It turned out glorious this afternoon once the cloud cleared now its full blue skies with the odd bit of fair weather cloud although it'll probably cloud over in the night and will be stuck with the stubborn cloud most of the morning but hopefully like today it will clear to leave another glorious afternoon with the possibility of temps being slightly warmer than today
  16. Not too bad today here so far started off with large amounts of cloud pretty much a grey over altogether but the sun is breaking through nicely large patches of blue sky but what is noticeable is the wind, as some would say it's blowing a hoolie out here given that though the temps aren't fairing too bad
  17. Agreed what is in Europe right now temps wise would be very uncomfortable as well as the health dangers it poses but it would be nice to at least have something in the mid to high twenties with a decent amount of sunshine as has been previously said it is summer after all
  18. Well what a lovely treat of grey gloom and endless cloud have to agree with other members about the weekends being s**t for about 5 weeks or so now roll on this azores high to come in by next weekend I'm really desperate for some cloudless sunny skies and warm temps although with the position of the high I have a feeling that cloud amounts are going to be a issue I'm hoping it veers more to the east and really draws up that continental airmass along with the clear skies bring on summer
  19. Still rumbling away here got some good beefy rumbles going on about every 5 mins or so possibly starting to die out but its still got that green hue to the sky so I'm hoping there's more on the way
  20. Caught a good fork on this video sorry I'm useless with editing hopefully I've put up the right video VID_20220630_180703.mp4
