    It surely has been a lively day in Wales! Lots of heavy showers, very strong winds, A gust of 76mph recorded this morning at Mumbles head. Tommorow looks no different. Further heavy rain and showers to come.

    A metoffice warning for thunderstorms was issued for my area which has totally jinxed it today for any thundery activity

    Had a decent line of storms that moved through earlier around 6pm. Hoping for more tommorow. Humidity seems like it's dropped slightly.

    Torrential persistent rain here seems like it's been months since we have seen such heavy rain!

    Thick blanket of cloud is limiting shower development here in Wales. There were some heavy showers just off gower earlier but they have moved out to sea

    It was nice to see a few storms that kicked off late afternoon in mid wales yesterday but it stayed bone dry here all day which i expected. Theres probably a greater chance today but im expecting most of the action to be further south and east. Hopefully im wrong would love to see a nice thunderstorm. Feeling alot fresher this morning which is very welcome 18C.

    Feels much fresher this morning, low of 18c so still a warm night. Its now 19C with 100% cloud cover and we have had a few sprinkles of rain
