  1. Looks like flooding is a real significant risk for the Midlands and Northwestern England coming up where those two air masses meet. I wouldn't rule out a red warning being issued on the metoffice site for that area
  2. Its looking quite bad the next few days with some quite severe weather in the forecast. No sign of any cold for the foreseeable future
  3. It will probably be rain or mixed. I have to say the models look rather poor for us southerners
  4. Likely to change and could go one way or the other right now...charts look interesting but we could end up on the wrong side of the cold. Could be more of a snow to rain event which we don't need ...we need to get the coldest weather In first then worry about precipitation. Those charts are so incredibly inaccurate that far out its ridiculous
  5. Chaos in the model thread this morning and some good charts starting to appear. Just a word of warning that most of these charts are a long way off and things can change for the better or worse so dont get too caught up in the details right now. Things can go very wrong very quickly so i would view that thread with caution right now. Alot of one liners and +200hr charts
  6. Ice build up from where the tide turned on Swansea Bay, very cool but not great for making snowballs lol
  7. More rain which we don't need. Flooding might become an issue if these streamers keep coming
  8. Yep we have had enough rain. Model outlook looking good so another night to put behind us
  9. There is some mixing with sleet and wet snow in with the heavier showers. So so close to snow. Dew point must be just above 0
  10. A good few inches up Pen Y Fan earlier with a temperature of around -3C at the summit. Hopefully more lower places will see snow soon
  11. I've got to be honest it looks pretty poor for low lying and coastal areas but hopefully im wrong and we all get something
  12. It looks like a good covering for the mountains when is this forecast to spread into west wales?
  13. My Welsh netweather friends hope you are all safe and well. Looking interesting for snow chances in the next few weeks to come so heres hoping we get some decent snow chances. We could all do with a bit of white magic to cheer us up In the short term Saturday night looking particularly wet and stormy with some very strong and damaging winds possible! Stay safe out there folks
  14. What sort of wind direction would this be ? North/Northerwesterly? I would assume a Pembrokeshire dangler sort of set up/ with beefy wintry showers?
