Read most days dont post much now. I would expect the models to under estimate the strength of the block and the cold air. So everthing westwards by about 100 miles upto Sat am, and expect it to pivot too as the front hits the cold. M6 line would be a good bet for me, but it will come down to 12 hrs before, poss Fridays' 12z ecm and fax for me. NAE have been wrong too in the past. We should get some snow, will it be a few hours or something better, hopefully the later. Still aiming to go out sledging Sat pm.

Morining all. -6.0C here in Hale, coldest on the drive to work was -6.5C Great crisp winters day, wish I was out on the tops wrapped up with the camera Still think we'll get something over the next few days, not really had a delve through the models in depth, but countryfile looked as good as you can get from a West point of view in this set up.

N24 latest just had the front aiming in for us about 7ish, should cold enough but it seem to fizzle out as it hit Mcr, with not much passing south west past that point Slush here now, not good when this freezes if Trafford Councils last gritting efforts were to go by
