Yep N Central Oklahoma and S Central Kansas for us. Scary looking charts at the moment. They are ramping this up big time here telling people to have an action plan for 3-10pm today.
Gotta be careful where we end up tonight as well, lines of Supercells with risk of Tornadoes sweeping east overnight as well.
Tipped off that tomorrow could also be High Risk as well.
Thank god the Michaelwaite Storm Shield has gone home :lol:

Liking the latest RUC Which shows a nice cell popping off over our target location around 6pm ahead of the convection hugging the Rockies. Thats all 3 models showing the same so we will be off in 90 minutes for the 3-4 hour drive Northwards up Highway 287
I thought we only trusted the GFS these days.

Just announced he BA flight WONT get off before 21:45 tonight at the earliest.
Oh well back to the Chardonnay.
Suppose that's the price you pay for storms. I was glad nothing kicked off for me yesterday. Didn't fancy flying through it !

Got back earlier today, a little jet lagged but ok. I managed to check off a fair number of things i hadn't seen before, despite it being one of the more inactive tours. A great experience. A teaser for what's to come on future tours.
Hope you all have a great time on the remainder of this year's tour.
And a big thanks to everyone that went on Tour 1. Great company. And we still managed to have a laugh even when it went bust.

Didn't realise we needed to be there 3 hours early oops. Blimey...i'll have to leave at some ridiculously early time tomorrow then. Might go to bed now. Oh no.. still need to pack.

Got to try and have and have an early night as I need to leave by 7 a.m. to get down to Heathrow. Tomorrow's going to be a looong day. I'll need a good drink at the end of it. See you all at the check in tomorrow.

My camcorder has arrived. Phew...that was a close call. I ordered it last week and forgot about all the bank holidays coming up. So happy. One less thing to worry about.

Will by all means book a room at the Best Western on the 28th April as that is where we are all staying and going out for a meal that night, you will have to pay for your own room on the 28th as Netweather pay the rooms from the 29th

I'm on Flight BA0193 departing from Heathrow at 11.25 a.m. on 28/04/11. Due to land around 3.25 p.m. (local time).Come back on the BA0192 flight from Dallas at 5.50 p.m. on 10/05/11.
Do you think there will there be room at the hotel you're staying at on the first night for me to just turn up and book there and then ? Or have you booked that one in advance ?

First time i've followed the live coverages. Scary radar updates showing where the circulation would be.
Some damage reports are very concerning. Cameras searching for the rain wrapped tornado and cars pulling over. This is becoming very real for me now.

All seems a bit surreal to me at the moment. It probably won't hit home until I land in Dallas.

Absolutely epic. It's hard being at work / home watching the live streams, but i'm glad you all had an amazing day.
Did Top Gun - Danger Zone work for you this time ? Or was that track banned :lol:
