Well, I made some reference yesterday at getting my bermuda shorts out, in protest of the snow concentrating itself to the east, however.....the blizzards have started here recently, temp 0.8oC, so may stick to the long johns for a wee while longer! hehe :unsure: -

Wintery showers on and off today, giving temporary coverings at times, currently clear & breeze picking up again, temp 2oC -
Wonderful squall here at moment, after a night of hammering gales, the temps down to 2.5oC, with thunder, lightening, driving hail......so it begins! yippeeee :o

Wonderful storm here at the moment 80mph winds, squally weather with thunder, lightening and contionuous hail, has made everything go white. Temp down to 2.5oC!! Has been a wild night, havent slept :o

Currently heavy rain, windy......forecast was for heavy snow, but the snow did not show! Was cold enough about 6pm, but temperature now upto 3.5oC.....gutted!! :o

Well after a dramatic thunder & hail storm its now blowing a blizzard.....kewl! Temp dropped dramatically from over 7oC to 2.4oC.......turning nice and white outside

Oooh, torrential hail at the moment with thunder & lightening, and gale force winds, sounds like the windows are going to implode! Jeepers!!! ....and the temperature has dropped from over 7oC to 3oC in I'd say less than 5 mins..freaky

Well now the battle between Flash & Wanlockhead has been sorted......which is the highest pub? The Tan Hill Inn (N. Yorkshire) or The Cat & Fiddle (Cheshire)..... theres a big dispute about that.....oh god what have I started :o

Heavy wet snow (big flakes) here at moment, though not sticking yet coz the ground is saturated Temp hovering around 2oC

Been raining on and off all day, very brisk Easterly wind/ Gale force Temp has been a miserable 8.5oC pretty much all day!!

3rd day of evil easterly gales........very persistent, and makin it very cold, despit the pleasant daytime sunshine!! Temp now 5.6oC and yes........those damn gales are still howling!!
