hey tom i tried take pics through the window but its come out crap, its much brighter and vivid than this came out of no where , these storms are silent no thunder its spooky, creeping me out abit

Just seen green lightning very faint to my south, anything over hereford?? OMG now purple sheet lightning , its like a lazer show

Yes they are showing on the radar as convective small cells which build in 10 mins, die, then build. very rapid development

I have nw radar, avbrief and french radar, nothing much active nevermind supercells.

power just went off here in mid wales. sky is very promising

I think it has something to do with the radio waves being deflected by static in a major storm, or disturbance in the athosphere making the transmission go all weird.

The last time I picked up spanish radio on FM, was 1992, 1994. then there was major MCS activity overnight.

I can confirm I have heard thunder to the north of me over Newtown,.

I think the main areas will be the convective uplift so sw hills, welsh mountains, malverns etc.
