    If they are different colours, it sounds like cumulonimbus clouds reflecting the sunset, so yes heavy showers or thunder snow

    Quickest freeze day so far this year here in Bucks, windscreen was frozen at 3pm fast , which it has not done since Saturday. -2C currently. down to around -5C overnight I think. With more snow to come weds/thurs easily.

    Real blankets of snow coming down in Aylesbury now, have come home early. Had a job to hold the car on some of the roundabouts north of the town, even at low speeds. Temp 1C with 50p flakes

    Went up the Chilterns this afternoon to watch the storm gust it's way nicely from Thame over to Aylesbury.

    Had a few rumbles of thunder over the Chilterns this afternoon, took this one overlooking Aylesbury around 2.30pm Shows the dividing line between the oxfordshire rain/cells and warmer air to east. Video : Divide Line
