    HD Footage yesterday evening in Herefordshire.

    I think the chances tonight will be different to the storms that formed yesterday evening, different conditions so around 11pm-2am heavy rain drifting up from SW England, with odd rumble IMO. Tomorrow could be good though

    Yes the clouds in South Wales at the moment look really interesting, a disturbance out to sea on the SW approaches is giving a lot of lightning returns at present. Next few hours will be interesting to see how things develop.

    I should be down on the south wales coast later, will report if anything occurs.

    I think SW England S.Wales could see some isolated activity towards midnight but this will cool down and end up as heavy/thundery rain as it moves North.

    Some good convection formed around lunch time here in South Wales, just north of Bridgend, before dying away.

    I know driving through some of the hail this morning in Shropshire, was the first time I actually felt a bit concerned in the UK

    Yes the hail is very nasty, flooding quite bad. Thunder was constant for about an hour. Just editing video at the moment.

    Yes level 2 was over Kent 2005/2006 if I remember roughly, and violent storms did occur.

    Sunshine starting to appear, and cloud breaks here in Shropshire. Temperature differences are huge at this time of year - great environment for activity.
