  1. Thankfully that shower/storm seems to be to my south and I am on it's leading edge see am not seeing anything and that was a radar picture at 3.45pm So I must assume it's a litter further away now as I still have my blue skies so hopefully my heart can start beating itself my chest rather than trying to break through it as it was a little while ago
  2. there was a heavy shower here about 30 minutes ago and a even heavier one just near Birmingham that very heavy shower (looking at the Radar) and the rest are drifting SE which means I will probably miss that nasty looking one just leaving the Birmingham area which is a relief as I plan to cut my grass shortly
  3. Latest Met Office update offers little encouragement to you Wednesday: A band of occasionally heavy rain will move through southern England with thundery showers in its wake. Elsewhere there will be occasional showers, possibly thundery in Scotland. looks like you may miss out unless you take a day trip down south or things change
  4. This Describes Me Exactly But So Far This Year Most Storms Have Only Skirted My Location So I Have Had A Relatively Calm Summer Which I hope Continues
  5. Those Videos Are Insane Glad I Don't Live In That Part Of The World
  6. Well I missed them last Wednesday when some of the country got them So from my point of view maybe I'll get lucky again
  7. my area is expected to be under the band of rain all day tomorrow yet they still forecast Thunderstorms wouldn't been overcast and wet and a little cooler than today inhibit them to a degree or am I thinking to simply I would have expected any storms to be ahead of the front / band of rain eg : more E/SE parts of the country
  8. I see the Sun comic book is keeping up to it's usual standard why don't they try something they'd be good like supplying manure to Farms
  9. Nice and Sunny here 20c here at the moment with just a slight breeze which is more than welcome
  10. the showers in north wales look like they may head to hereford and gloucester later
  11. that's why I'm hoping this rainband stays essentially where it is
  12. I'll be happy to stay under this rainband let the showers/storms go to wales gloucester and all places south
  13. Not surprised that band is moving nowhere fast
  14. I thought it was already in yorkshire
  15. so I could get effectively stuck under this band of rain if it's rotating E/NE
  16. The rain band is still to go through here yet
  17. Anyone know when the worst will be over for coventry , estimation of course yes I know hasn't started yet but Want to have something to look forward to and the end of this weather would be ideal
  18. I think so yes but I'm no expert
  19. those showers in the irish sea do look like hitting gloucester later on but after this rain in birmingham I wonder how many more showers we'll see
  20. Rain seems to be bypassing me completely not that I'm complaining Heard all this before from the BBC and their definition of nasty is probably just the intense rainfall
  21. Dry As A Bone Here The Heavy Rain Just North Of Here
  22. It seems to be the CF that has the worst weather at the moment that rain over NI sinking south into wales doesn't look to bad at the moment
  23. I find it odd that South Yorkshire has warnings out for heavy showers but the latest Met Office forecast only mentions Southern England , Wales and the Midlands even though I suspect it'll be more Southern England And Wales I just find it odd
