  1. no surprise to see the SE keep the warmer/hot conditions for longest
  2. only if you like that sort of thing besides still plenty of time for models to do a complete turn and catch everybody out probably won't but you never know
  3. yep unless you get some showers BBC forecast did show this to move north on the western side of the country
  4. just seen latest BBC forecast they are forecasting this to move north over the western side of the country with only a few scattered showers further east
  5. same here , was beginning to feel lonely around here going to be a terrible couple of days for me I think whether I see a storm or not
  6. Interesting that Netweather's own forecast for today has only a 10% storm risk for overnight mainly cloudy with outbreaks of rain
  7. well the BBC has my location as cloudy and sometimes cloud just loves to stick around best chances seems locations west of London in the afternoon period
  8. I will do my best to WILL them in your direction and I am not sure what'll be worse tomorrow possible showers / storms or that wedding
  9. Well I avoided the storms last Friday / Saturday and are hoping to do so again the risk of the worst weather I think is a little south and south west of my location especially by the afternoon even though I don't think showers can't be ruled out for me , hopefully no thundery ones though
  10. It seems I must be prepared to be terrified later on hope I can keep myself together
  11. selfishly speaking I hope those ones in wales die down a bit or at least not have too much lightning as it's that what scares me the most
  12. typical just when I thought I'd got away with it
  13. that maybe happening clouds obscured the sun for a while but they seem to moving away
  14. is anything approaching me stress levels going through the roof
  15. got to calm myself down or I'll bring on a heart attack at this rate
  16. If they start here how long do you expect them to last was planning to go out this evening but no doubt storms and my fear will put a stop to that
  17. you don't sound as confident as you did earlier ?
  18. Quite glad I'm not in Barnsley at the moment it is dry where I am hope it lasts or if it does happen I hope it's not as bad as the one further north
  19. looking on the bright side for me is that the longer I don't get one the less time I have to suffer if one comes along just out of interest will these showers/storms fade with setting of the sun or will some other mechanism keep them going just want to know so i can get an idea of when I can relax again
  20. yep I just saw the 12:30 forecast and he says not to take the areas as gospel just as an indication of what weather you might expect like you said he did make a point of saying they're could be some heavy showers/downpours in northern and eastern England this evening which ties in with what some were saying this morning seems to be a case of wait and see and hope for those that want them and for one's that don't like me
  21. just watched the latest Forecast with Peter Gibbs on news 24 and their latest map shows a few but not many showers around at all this afternoon and will be set off by warmer temperatures in the SE ahead of the cold front and not many around this evening either what do people think of the latest forecast Also the dew point has gone down from 11 to 10 degrees , not sure whether that's good or bad
  22. well this thread would be a dull place if only storm lovers occupied it
  23. suits me down to the ground we can breed them all day long providing I don't see any
