    I probably only just scrape into this region geographically but it's currently 0.7C and it's snowing good and proper. Wet snow but snowing none the less.

    Well I'm quite surprised. Almost an ice day for me today. Currently 0.5C after a days high of 0.6C. Not much frost around though as it quite blowy out.

    Not quite an ice day for me...although the frost hasn't really lifted from the garden. I've risen to the heady heights of 0.6C after an overnight low of -4.4C. Currently just droped back down below freezing and it's -0.3C...

    I have to say the weather forcesat certainly under played the temps today.. I'm currently at -1C after an overnight low of -4.4C. Was expecting another +3 ish day.. Any reason why this is so?

    River Avon frozen in Evesham at christmas - saw swans walking from one bank to another so must be a reasonable thickness as a swan is heavy for a bird.. Apparently also frozen in Stratford.. River Evenlode also frozen over along much of its length - small river that runs from Moreton in Marsh to Oxford. I've had pheasants coming in and feeding from my chicken feeders in the yard, I think the rarest sighting I've had though is a bullfinch - just the one.

    Currently -3.0C with over night low of -7.9C... No snow what so ever but everything lovely and white regardless. So hoar frost in places when driving around.. Hoping that the snow will come in tonight... Ground rock solid will will certainly settle...

    Good frost this morning -1.6C, but lifted fairly quickly under the brilliant autumn sunshine. A perfect autumn day - high of 11C

    I was 11 at the time i remember reading -25C on the outdoor thermometer which my mum had brought back from finland (her being finnish) and her saying i thought it was a bit nippy. This was near Moreton in Marsh in the cotswolds!

    Afternoon. Got about a further 15cm last night so much less than expected. Phew.. Temp currently -0.5C and very misty. The forest near by looks like Lapland the trees are so heavily laden with snow.

    Loads of snow out here too i live towards Taddington/Cutsdean/Snowshill in the cotswold backwoods. We had approx 30cm which has compacted down to 20cm. Today was the first day we got above 0C - the heady heights of 0.2C.... Looking forward to some fresh snow but if i get the predicted 30cm it's going to be a nightmare up here - guess i should look forward to being cut off again. Thank god for a pair for 4WD and a pair of ski's

    They skill likes like it will give me snow and the temp is 0.0C exactly with a DP of -3.C so if it get here without fizzling out I will have an accumulation....

    Hmmmmm I love this cold weather but I'm not sure I want over half a metre of snow... Fun for a bit but unless it's accompanied by some good freezing temperatures it's a bit of a nightmare.

    AmI going to have a problem with this frontal snow over the next couple of days. Do people think it will get as far north as here and if so how much is progged to fall? I already have about 20+cm . Currently just below 0C (-0.1C). Thoughts appreciated as need to prepare a few things if it does. ta.
