hi everyone, just wondering if any of you can shed a bit of light on something for me...i have read on met offices, and in the times today that they are changing their winter forecast from a predicted ild one, to an average one with it getting colder from february...the cause being "el nino".....could someone please explain to me what el nino is...it would be much appreciated! cheers.

i saw the best thing of my life today... my first ever tornado...i am in lincolnshire about 20 miles north of peterborough and wow! what a sight it was...thunder banging all around us, flashing everywhere then i noticed this formation and kept an eye on it, and eventually it turned into a funnel for about ten minutes gradually getting thinner after hitting ground twice then dying out! awesome sight which i will never forget!
